I blow my nose on the washing before it goes in the machine... rather than find a tissue!

I used to get tonsil stones, not any more for some reason, and I'd take pleasure in squishing them and sniffing the stink intensely. It would both disgust and engross me.
I'd eventually wipe the squidgy stuff on a tissue & chuck it in the bin. Sometimes I'd fish the tissue back out of the bin to give it another sniff.

Couldn't get past the first page of this thread, yuk, can remember mother (I'm quite old) having to wash snotty hankies, used to have special bucket she put on the gas cooker to boil them up in, then went outside to tip the water down the drain. Thank goodness for tissues.

I rarely walk up the stairs at home on my feet, I’ve always gone up on all fours ever since I was little. Obviously only at home, I’d look a bit of a pillock doing it in public

My friend did that and her daughter came along and picked her school dress off the pile of dirty laundry and wore it. Still makes me laugh ten years on.

I think it’s a bit like I think other people’s toilets have distinct smells. It means very few outside of my own do I feel are clean and nice despite them probably all actually being clean they just are not mine and fragranced in the same way 😅

Though I agree a bar handle is much easier and nicer in many situations.

I love picking my nose but I'm quite hygienic when I do it. Usually get myself a wipe and a hankie and go to town! When I was a kid, not so hygienic.. I used to stick my bogies behind my headboard at night and to stop my mum finding them I'd wait until they were dry then flick them at my sister across the bedroom lol...apart from that I was a very clean child

When no one is around, I fart to my heart's content.

I sniff my dog’s paw pads, it’s a weird popcorn smell but I find it comforting.

I use my face to stroke my cat. I love the smell of his fur.

Perhaps they wore them more than one day then😬 must admit to always setting w. machine to prewash for D H underpants😂
