Saving them from what? In practical terms I doubt I'd be able to drag my partner out of the water if he was drowning, or out of a burning building, due to the size and weight of him, the baby on the other hand would be fairly easy.

Partner. If it was my baby or my partner, I'd save my baby. But not someone else's over my partner.

What if - for the singletons among us - it was a bloke with whom you'd only had a few dates?
Is it better to save a baby who's a total stranger ... but an innocent wee baby? Sad

Gun to their heads type of situation, I couldn’t look into my partner’s eyes and not save him.

What an awful choice though 😂

Stranger’s baby. My husband would be more able to try to save himself than a baby would, and if I saved him instead of the baby, the survivor’s guilt would just about destroy him.
