After Bonnie blue beat Lily Philips to "bed" as many men as possible in 12 hours, lily has now said she plans to have anal sex with as many men as she can, I'm guessing in 24 hours.

wtf is wrong with people ?
Aibu or has the world gone mad ?
I'm no prude but this all just seems so classless.

Were my teenagers to bring this story to me, my first reaction would be to ask why they think she’s doing this, and explore that. I would never just say ‘ugh she’s a slur’ or more polite words to that effect as it teaches them nothing except how to judge people when you don’t understand them.

there is ALWAYS a reason people behave in sexually promiscuous ways. These things don’t happen in a vacuum. I am bringing my children up to be analytical about society/people/behaviours, rather than condemning people who do silly, inadvisable or dangerous things.

of course it’s not advisable and the whole orgy oneupmanship is part of the dark underbelly of social media and the whole influencer/reality TV phenomenon. It’s a society problem, not a problem for those women (and the men who choose to engage) alone.

3luckystars · 19/01/2025 15:25

I just mentioned it to my 14year old and they knew all about it. More than I did!

They said she just makes a lot of money from it, and other women are doing similar for even more money.

Not in anyway shocked about it. Said it was old news.

It’s a sorry state of affairs.

What worries me is that the media attention will normalise this type of sexual behaviour. We all know men think with their dicks....what is going to become the expectation? That women are game for this kind of thing?
I appreciate this is consensual sex and I do fully get the difference with the horrendous Gisele Pelicot case but there are men who don't believe that it was rape - the lowlives who raped her for example .
I hate where this is going and how demeaning it feels for women in general,
that it encourages men to think we are just vessels for their sexual gratification.

There is no difference between these activities and the Pelicot case. The Pelicot case was enabled by this type of behaviour by women who have been taught it is empowering, or are doing it for the money. If for the money, which seems to be the case, then it is rape - paid for rape. No difference.

What's worrying me is the number of you on this thread that seems to be so very au fait with the details of all this. I hadn't heard or seen a thing about it until I read this thread.

Absolutely nothing has come up about in on my internet newsfeed or on any of my news sources.
This thread is full of, 'I read an article, I saw a video'. Someone upthread was able to answer a question about how it all worked, whether the men queued up, etc.

If you are all so horrified by it, and rightly so, I really can't understand why you appear to be reading so much about it. Just from this thread, and I haven't read all of it, I have NO wish to read any article or watch any video about this at all.

Part of the problem is right here. All of you who have clicked on links, watched videos, listened to interviews, have all taken part in the profiteering at the expense of this woman.

You don't want your kids seeing this shit, stop keeping it in circulation. Every article posted online about this is telling yet more men who is doing this and where to go to look at this. For every person reading in outrage, someone else is reading with a different kind of interest.

Wherever this is that you are all getting this from, you should be complaining, reporting and blocking. Doesn't matter if it's an article from a 'respected' tabloid expressing moral outrage over it, it's still part of the problem. Mainstream media is a responsive beast. If it's not getting the eyeballs, it won't keep dragging up the lurid details. And if you aren't regularly clicking on content from the sort of media outlets that run lurid articles on this kind of thing, you won't see it come up.

Vote with your eyes. Don't feed the frenzy.

Hear hear.

I dont agree we should ignore it. I think we need to talk about it. Any man taking part in this need to be told that it will be investigated afterwards.

The woman is going to be injured publicly by hundreds of men. There is a hint that she may have autism or have mental health issues, it needs to be gotten out there that’s this is completely and utterly wrong and maybe illegal and they need to stay away from her entirely.

There's certainly an argument for talking about it, yes, but it's how we do that without, at the same time, further feeding attention generation, and, basically, telling any sleazeballs who didn't know about it that it exists and how to find it.

Ritasueandbobtoo9 · 19/01/2025 16:13

Pornography like this dehumanises women. She shouldn’t be allowed to do this.

Carouselfish · 19/01/2025 16:25

Why publicise it more, why not let it sink unmarked without trace. Not keep bringing the lowest of the low subjects into public discussion. Then there'd be no motivation to do it.

Interesting thread.

On one hand there is often a narrative of her body her choice, refuse to be slut shamed, if you want to sleep around then do because men do, don’t be controlled by the patriarchy etc etc…

But I’m reading the posts here saying this is absolutely vile, classless and that she’s a ‘fucking disgrace’.

Just for clarity, what’s the agreed acceptable line on sexual partners not to be crossed please?
Because the commentary all seems very contradictory…

Edited

Stupid comment.

I disagree. I think us women talking about it and showing that it isn't normal to want to do this stuff is what should happen. Young boys and men need to be told what all of us normal women really think about all of this.

I don't believe the Ofcom ruling about age verification will end the viewing of pornography in the UK from July, far from it. However, if it means less viewing of behaviour like this, it will be one small step forwards.

sherbertcandy · 19/01/2025 17:36

This is totally wrong. A 1000? Does she want to be not able to sit down again? She will damage herself!

AliasGrace47 · 19/01/2025 17:41

Younghearts, Tbf in the era of Paris I was doing, being a courtesan did seem a glamorous option for some women who would otherwise be slaving away at menial work & possibly be exploited w less control. Then as now, ofc, v few women became wealthy or were able to choose who they saw. Not that doing those things is good, but most people who try to emulate Lily Phillips et al now would come nowhere near achieving her level of money or perceived control in exchange for commodifying their sexuality. Not to mention just as courtesans had the protection of a wealthy man, Phillips is being backed up by her parents (or rather pimps).

theresabluebirdinmyheart · 19/01/2025 17:45

For anyone asking why are we all condemning Lily and not he men in involved.. for me personally I thought it went without saying the men involved are absolute beasts, but just for clarity:
I think Lily is mentally unwell and has probable childhood trauma and the men taking part remind me of a pack of wolves surrounding their prey ready to tear into it.
She’s nothing more than a piece of meat to these absolute scumbags and it’s sickening her mother, of all people, is helping facilitate it. I would put money on it that something wasn’t right being raised by a woman who would do this, must be deep rooted damage there.

Exploiting and taking sexual advantage of insanity.

No this is bad. Just bc it's a dangerous & awful thing to do doesn't mean she's insane & needs sectioning. Then do we jail women who take drugs during pregnancy? Alcoholics? Bodily autonomy is crucial to a free society, not that there shouldn't be curbs on porn etc...

Yes of course

I honestly think we should ban porn entirely. There will always be a dark underbelly to society, yes, and people determined enough will always find ways to engage with that kind of stuff regardless of bans but we shouldn't make it as easy as we do now.
Porn isn't real life sex (by definition) and porn does nothing for women's rights - on the contrary, I blame the pornification of social media for a lot of the manosphere bullshit of today.

Notaflippinclue · 19/01/2025 17:55

What kind of father allows men to do this to his daughter!

I don't approve of ONSs personally but I don't think promiscuity is necessarily a sign of mental illness/unhappiness. It depends on lots
Men are more likely to enjoy being promiscuous for evolutionary reasons, but there's no reason some women won't. Some women have higher sociosexuality, separate sex from being in love in way that's more common in men. The difference for me is if the person, male or female, is pathologically having random sex in a way that's not driven by pleasure but by compulsion, often bc of need for trauma, validation etc & can't form a committed relationship.
This is off the charts. V different from a single person having a ONS from time to time. This isn't about any sort of pleasure, it's about the sacrifice of body & soul to the altar of hypercapitalism & misogyny.😐

BitOutOfPractice · 17/01/2025 14:53

Good lord. I mean I’m all for women doing what they want with their bodies but where I’ll this end? I genuinely worry about their health - physical and mental.

I'm not all for women doing what they want with their bodies - we as a society try to physically and legally bar others from behaviour like drug taking, suicide and self-harm, because we accept that there are certain things that, for a person to even consider, means that they are in such a disturbed mental state that they cannot be allowed to have control over their own affairs. It would be in the best interests of society, and the individuals involved, if women and men were legally barred from producing obscene and pornographic content for distribution. As that's not going to happen, we need to be bold in proclaiming our disgust at the actions of pornographic actors/actresses, especially ones who go out of their way to make a spectacle of themselves, to heap shame upon them and discourage other young people from following in their debased footsteps.

It’s about attention. Maybe we should look at why we are producing a generation of young people who crave the attention of strangers.
