Wherever this is that you are all getting this from, you should be complaining, reporting and blocking. Doesn't matter if it's an article from a 'respected' tabloid expressing moral outrage over it, it's still part of the problem. Mainstream media is a responsive beast. If it's not getting the eyeballs, it won't keep dragging up the lurid details. And if you aren't regularly clicking on content from the sort of media outlets that run lurid articles on this kind of thing, you won't see it come up.

Complaining and reporting won't do anything. Unfortunately, apparently nothing illegal is going on. Its all over TikTok. The kids will see it.

Makes your bum clench thinking about the physical after effects, as well as the psychological consequences. Just awful. I can't imagine a parent encouraging their daughter to do this. It makes me so sad.

Reading every article going about it isn't going to achieve anything. It might be all over TikTok, but we could help prevent it from being all over everywhere else by not giving it our eyeballs.

Every time you click on an article, you are 'telling' that media source that this is of interest. How many people do you think reading the outraged articles have hopped over to TikTok to see what the fuss is about?

The more we read about this, the more there is to read, the bigger the story becomes, the more people hear about it. The more articles produced, the greater chance even more children will have of seeing it. Even worse, the greater chance more sleazy men will hear about it.

I am not sure when we, as a society, will really start understanding that we aren't led by the media, the media is led by us.

I dont agree we should ignore it. I think we need to talk about it. Any man taking part in this need to be told that it will be investigated afterwards.
