Special Christmas Day breakfast for kids

Usually they have cereals and/or toast with a piece of fruit. I want to do them something quick and easy but a bit special for Christmas Day breakfast. Dh and I usually have smoked salmon bagels but they don't like this.

Don't care if it's sugary or crap, it's Christmas! One is 13 the other is a preschooler so ideally something to suit both. Don't fancy frying bacon and cooking much but other suggestions welcome!

We have croissants and bucks fizz! Orange for DS.

Mine eat chocolate from their selection boxes! Otherwise I’d do frozen pastries, fruit and yogurt (I’d probably cook the pastries first!)

Fluffy American pancakes.

1 cup sr flour, 1 desert spoon sugar, 1 egg, 2/3 cup milk, 1 dessert spoon oil or melted butter, whisk together until smooth, fry on a low to medium heat. If they are Mickey Mouse fans, you can easily make Mickey pancakes with a larger blob and too smaller over lapping ear blobs!

Serve with fresh fruits and syrup.

Aldi Christmas cereal. Special aisle.

@nonkynink I cook bacon in the oven. About 170C fan oven for roughly 5 — 10 minutes.

Pret a Manger sell their chocolate croissants, frozen, in Tesco. Just pop them in the oven and they are totally delicious! Also do almond ones and plain ones. That's what we'll be having!

We've got these along with pastries to liven up festive breakfasts! 3yo loves cereal so hoping he likes it.

Thanks for the Santa pancakes, DDs 5 and 2 will love those! Going to be our Xmas Eve breakfast.

I've got pop tarts for their stocking, would never buy them any other time of year but figure it might be fun for Xmas morning as DH and I probably won't want any breakfast ourselves.

We always have pastries in bed with a J20. They bring their stockings up to me to open and then we eat before we venture downstairs 🎅🏻
