I have been seeing someone for a while and often during sex he does not finish.
Sometimes, he loses the mood halfway through and its quite dissapointing.
He smokes, smokes weed and is quite unhealthy. I noticed when he takes a break from the weed especially, he can come.
I am in my 30s and want a family...I have tried to talk about it with him but he refuses to acknowledge it. Sometimes he says he has come, but he is lying!

The lying and smoking would be red flags for me. Throw this one back OP.

Shove this in the relationship or sex topic - I don’t want to have to imagine your dead beat boyfriend not being able to finish off!

Pleasegetchristmasoverwith · 23/11/2024 13:06

Smoking weed has a much more devastating effect on the lungs than cigarettes. No wonder he is unhealthy and has no stamina.
If he doesn't see the smoking and drugs as a problem then he is not going to change. You would be better off out of this relationship OP.

TheLurpackYears · 23/11/2024 13:06

I think it's probably a good think he doesn't, he isn't father material. Believe me, if you can avoid having kids with a stoner then do.

PassingStranger · 23/11/2024 13:08

Why do you want to be with someone who smokes, and smokes weed is more the point?

MatildaTheCat · 23/11/2024 13:14

Is he your dream father of your future babies? An unhealthy, untruthful stoner?

Use it as a guide for looking a bit higher up the food chain next time.

Wishimaywishimight · 23/11/2024 13:31

Seriously, why would you want a child with a smoker / weed smoker? How do you envisage life with him as your partner and father of your child?

Move on and seek a better specimen

VimesandhisCardboardBoots · 23/11/2024 13:40

Why do you want to spend your life with someone who'd rather smoke weed than orgasm?

mitogoshigg · 23/11/2024 13:41

If he was mid 50's and didn't smoke i would say it is normal later in life but he isn't, it's the weed - ditch him

Set your bar a lot higher for the father of your future child

Apileofballyhoo · 23/11/2024 13:45

OP, this man is not someone to have children with.

LegoTherapy · 23/11/2024 13:45

Good lord, why on earth would you inflict this waster on a child?! Raise your bar above subterranean.

Rude. Just scroll on. The title was a giveaway.

Notmycircusnotmyotter · 23/11/2024 13:46

Oof kids with a stoner, not a good idea

LifeExperience · 23/11/2024 13:47

The unhealthy druggie sounds like perfect father material--not!

Annabella92 · 23/11/2024 13:49

Probably porn sick death grip issues more than the smoking... Trust me he'll be finishing somewhere it just might be that he struggles with an actual person

Merryoldgoat · 23/11/2024 13:51

Why do you have so little self esteem to put up with this?

AhBiscuits · 23/11/2024 13:51

I'd put money on death grip too. I've experienced it in a relationship and it was soul destroying. Binned him after a few months.

YourGreenJoker · 23/11/2024 14:10

Leave this man.

Your age and wanting a family has nothing to do with it. Don’t act out of desperation.

Chonk · 23/11/2024 14:39

YABU to still be with him.

Pretty sure cigarettes are still the worst..

I wasn't that impressed by my son's school but what he did get was really good eduction on smoking and drugs.
And he was told that smoking weed was much more dangerous for the lungs and your respiratory system.
If you Google this there is quite a lot of scientific research to back up the fact weed causes much more damage than tobacco.

My dad was a stoner, and was the nicest person anyone could hope to meet. Unfortunately he died at 39 (probably due to the weed smoking)

Moonmelodies · 23/11/2024 15:43

To be fair a lot of women also struggle to orgasm.
