Galaxy counters have been discontinued

Am reallllllly sad. I don't want minstrels. And I don't want to buy a bag of revels just to get counters. Also I don't want a bar of galaxy.
Everywhere near me is a counter free place. The only counters are the ones you put the till on.

Maybe the one show will do a bit on their untimely demise. I am sad.

The original galaxy counters were discontinued decades ago.
I remember me and a work colleague (198?) drafting a strongly worded letter asking them to bring them back.

That picture brings back memories! I liked them but they were my sister's chocolate of choice and she got them every time we were allowed to choose sweets!

I don't think they've been discontinued..they are still on the website and my local tesco had loads this morning.

They were discontinued once before and then reintroduced. Not as good as they were but that is all chocolate now.

I remember that packet, and an earlier 1960s one from when I was very small, with an owl on it.

I still haven't got over the discontinuation of- spiras , mars delights, mars planets, dream bar, snow flake (come to think of it I haven't seen a normal flake in a while!) or tasters.

GALAXY CARAMEL SWIRLS !! They were unwrapped and loose in a pouch, when I was a kid. It was a time when the small individual chocolate bars were cheap, and they didn't have many large packets; the ones they did have were expensive (the way it bloody should be)! It was such a treat to get those, they were amazing! I think I got a version of them in America a few years back in my 20s, called Dove which were so similar!
What has happened to Galaxy chocolate too? It is awful now, so salty!

Loads of counters in our co-op last week. I love minstrels but they give me terrible gastro issues for some reason. Montezumas buttons are fab.
