Mullets on kids

YANBU but they are better than mohawks which are sadly allowed at my kids' school

They have never been out of fashion round here- a big proportion of the traveller boys/young men have them and have as long as I remember.

I prefer them on women… but my hair dresser refuses to do it for me!

I'm not voting because I think mullets at a bit shit. DS1 has one and is so, SO pleased with himself (he's an adult so out of your age range!)

However, I think haircuts are one thing where you can do anything you want as it's not permanent.

Absolutely this. In my experience of teaching, the mullet seems to be very prevalent in the rugby playing and following kids!

Dh was showing me a team photo of the football team he played for in 1988, they virtually all had a mullet! Some of them had permed mullets! Dh's was a rather tame pathetic attempt at a mullet, like he couldn't quite commit 😂

My husband had one and I love it! Although his is probably more of a faux hawk at the minute as it’s been trimmed.

I was born in 82. By the time I was aware of haircuts, mullets were already becoming an old fashioned embarrassment!

My grandson under 2 has one. I found it hilarious. But it isn't my child so it isn't any of my business.
