Mine is ‘buttery soft’…If you haven’t come across this phrase, it is mainly used when describing leggings or other clothes, but now I’ve even seen it being used to describe gold jewellery! Also butter isn't that soft…Margariney soft doesn’t have the same ring to it I suppose.. Anyone else?

Got with - as in "I got with Steve in 2023"
Had X kids "to" someone (as opposed to with)

It sounds so chav.

As well as ‘having kids to someone’, I hear ‘pregnant for him’, which really irritates me. What’s wrong with saying ‘pregnant by him’?

Linked to that is the phrase ‘I fell pregnant’ as if it’s something completely unexpected and random that happened to this passive person instead of something they actively participated in. Yes, I know, not all pregnancies are planned but the woman is still actively having sex. You don’t just walk along the street minding your own business and suddenly fall pregnant.

When someone puts something on Twitter like...

"Name me a better songwriter than Taylor Swift....

I'll wait."

OR

On a message board like this...

"Things you can do when you're snowed in....

Annnnnd GO!"

Or the ever annoying

"DISCUSS!"

🙄

I hate mining for engagement shite on Twitter, as well.

I don't like 'wrong answers only', and 'who can name this actress? bullshit.

When it's Scarlett Johanson, or someone else equally as famous.

Say what now? I've seen a few people on MN use it and it drives me mad.
