Why do people like Red Bull?

Bloody vile stuff.

The same as people "like" string instant coffee. It's a means to an ends.

I have never tried Red Bull, and I don't really want to.

But many people like it.

I love my coffee!

it’s a way of getting caffeine in to my system. I’d drink coffee, but I like it (far too) sweet and I’m fat enough as it is.

1. Because it gives you wings
2. I know you didn't get this far in life without knowing different people like different things.

I can't stand tea but open my mouth and pour that red bull down my neck!

I can't stand it either FWIW but I don't question why others like some things, and I don't.

I had Red Bull once, years ago, after I'd been working over 24 hours and needed to stay awake for training. Awful palpitations. Never touched it again.

People are different.

It tastes good. Used to have 4 a day. Also helps me sleep at night due to the adhd. Then again I love coffee and tea as well so maybe it's a caffeine thing.

I once necked a litre bottle of the cheap replica because I had an essay to write for uni and needed to stay up. Never felt so strange in all my life and I had to wait until I stopped feeling so ill before I could write the essay. Talk about throwing bad at bad.

It smells like huge piles of horse manure.

But mainly It makes my brain feel sort of quieter than usual(ADHD) it helps me sleep to like a pp mentioned

Without red bull and strong coffee I'm an absolute nightmare to live with.

I’ve never tried it, but smelling it when someone nearby opened a can put me right off ever drinking it.

I think all other energy drinks taste horrible but I LOVE the taste of red bull. Probably only have one every couple of months but much more in my teens and twenties

Is this the first time you've encountered people who like things that you don't like? Because the answer is always 'because tastes vary.'

Because it tastes nice when ice cold. And it has caffeine in it, which makes it perfect for a cervicogenic headache or sinus pain when combined with two paracetamol, an ice pack and a Sudafed.

I don't like it, but it's easier to drink than coffee, which I find really vile. Red Bull is my driving medicine. Better that than crashing because I've fallen asleep.

I think tea is a lot more revolting. But hey, guess what... I never drink it! (Tried it once obvs otherwise I wouldn't know I hated it.) Foul stuff. 😖 I don't know how people can drink it! But as has been said, NEWSFLASH! People are different!

I loved it but can’t drink it anymore because I have a stoma.

I don't like it. My husband does. He says it tastes good. I disagree. That is the extent of my research on the topic.

Today in completely uninteresting news: people enjoy different things!

My younger colleagues (early/mid 20s) will drink 1-3 cans every day. The smell of it makes me heave as it reminds of vodka red bulls in my student days 😅
