Which careers would you imagine would make you more likely to date someone?

I think some jobs say a huge amount about who you are as a person.

My husband is an airline pilot.

I'd rather have a cannabis farmer!

Do you get cheap business/first tickets for the carrier?

Yeah we do.

Exactly - he'd be working evenings and weekends which is not very compatible with a 9-5 job if that's what you have, or with family life.

I’ve always warned friends not to date chefs, in my experience in kitchens they very often have a temper and a coke habit! Glad you’ve got a good one though!

Accountants are renowned for being not that great with their own money. Not sure how true it is. The rest probably has nothing to do with his being an accountant

I won't choose a partner anymore now (long time married), but never, ever a musician.
In fact, weirdly, I would be embarrassed about that particular occupation.

What nonsense. The job you choose often says absolutely loads about your interests, strength, skills and possibly personality. Not always, but often.

I'd always go for men with white collar jobs requiring a fairly high level of education. No attraction to stereotypically masculine, physical jobs.

I'm an engineer and married to an engineer. Things can get a bit technisch sometimes  but I like @Butchyrestingface 's approach.

My vet DH is also a dab hand at DIY. Turns into a gibbering wreak when he sees a spider though so I can't have everything.

Not the first three, chronically unemployed!

I'm going to answer this question honestly. I wish I had married an academic.
