My boyfriend lives with a female room mate. Last night I ordered and paid for Dominos pizza (for me and my partner) and we got a free pizza which he put in the fridge.

I’ve got exams and have been revising in the garden all day, looking forward to pizza and a drink tonight with my boyfriend. He’s just rung me to say his flat mate and her boyfriend have eaten it (never asked him, just saw it in the fridge and took it). She’s claimed it wasn’t her fault as it was just left over pizza so why couldn’t she eat it.

She’s now replaced the pizza with a Tesco own brand. Its not the fucking same. I’m really pissed off.

YANBU. Tell your boyfriend to tell her that she needs to replace it with the exactly same Domino’s pizza and the same size. A Tesco pizza is just for one and won’t satisfy 2.

Your boyfriend needs to speak up and tell her she needs to pay you the market price of a single Domino’s pizza. It’s utterly shit of her.

Are you at uni? I still remember the rage I felt when my flat mates drank my bottle of baileys! A full bottle I'd left stupidly in the lounge unopened.
Just tell her to replace it with a proper domino's pizza and not to nick your food in future. Simple as that really.

No I finished uni a long time ago, these exams are related to my job and the equivalent of a degree in that industry.

Working full time and studying is fucking hard and it really gets me down sometimes. Which is why the pizza was “important”.

I wouldn’t have been bothered if they’d had a slice each if they’d asked. Boyfriend has no backbone so he won’t say anything.

I think YANBU, but with the slight caveat that I suppose it depends on the norms within their house. Would your boyfriend also take leftover pizza from the fridge without asking because everything is fair game?

I would be livid if I knew I had pizza for dinner after studying and a CF ate it and replaced with a supermarket pizza…. She needs to replace like for like and not good enough of your boyfriend to have your back and say something

Ah OP. If your boyfriend has "no backbone" this is just the start of a long long list of ways in which he will stand by and enable people to disrespect you in life.
