She ate my pizza!!

My boyfriend lives with a female room mate. Last night I ordered and paid for Dominos pizza (for me and my partner) and we got a free pizza which he put in the fridge.

I’ve got exams and have been revising in the garden all day, looking forward to pizza and a drink tonight with my boyfriend. He’s just rung me to say his flat mate and her boyfriend have eaten it (never asked him, just saw it in the fridge and took it). She’s claimed it wasn’t her fault as it was just left over pizza so why couldn’t she eat it.

She’s now replaced the pizza with a Tesco own brand. Its not the fucking same. I’m really pissed off.

She needs to replace to equivalent. Dominos are expensive!
I love the garlic sauce. So I treated myself and got the bigger tub. I had some left over that I was having for lunch the next day. Husband ate that and the left over sauce. I was so annoyed. Now if I get it I label the sauce so he knows what he can have (the little one that comes with it!)

I'd order another one and leave her a note on the forage telling her how much she owes you.

Next time put it in the freezer.

She needs to replace it. If your boyfriend can't bear for it to be brought up with her, he needs to replace it.

In your opinion. Obviously op and many others enjoy them. Putting leftover food in a fridge is a normal thing to do. You must waste so much food.

@Minimili yes, start a thread on here! I'm sure you'd get a lot of takers. That'd actually upset me, in your position. I can't abide waste especially food waste. Or stick them on fb, ask for a small donation and donate to a homeless charity?

I would be peeved if someone ate my leftovers from my fridge, but my leftovers in someone else's fridge is a bit different. Especially if the people who's fridge it is aren't worried about eating each others left overs

I'd be insisting the boyfriend sorted it out with the flat mate that she bought you a new pizza or he'd be an ex boyfriend appalling behaviour from both of them.
He's made a mug of you too and it's a piss take.

Well okay - maybe all the pizza joints around by you do this offer. Doesn’t that show that it’s a common incentive? And that therefore the idea is that people will take up the deal in order to get extra pizza, rather than it being some useless extra that you may as well give to your boyfriend’s flatmate?

If the flatmate will steal food from the fridge, surely she’ll steal it from the freezer too?

Personally, I'd chuck the Tesco pizza so she couldn't eat that too and say you'd appreciate it if she didn't eat your food in the future and that you've obviously thrown the Tesco one away as it wasn't what you wanted or like.

People like this rely on others having the good nature to not be confrontational.

Thank you to the person who offered me the pizza, I don’t live in the North West (maybe a good thing as I have no will power) but your offer is appreciated.

No update. She’s broke until pay day and won’t replace it. It took my boyfriend calling her out to even get the Tesco pizza (that had a reduced sticker).

I’m over it and haven’t been over since. I’m going out with friends this week to celebrate finishing the exams. So boyfriend and flat mate can enjoy their Tesco pizza.

Are you any good at baking, OP? Bake yourself a tray of chocolate muffins and make a show of enjoying them in front of her. She doesn’t need to know that you put chilli powder in the last few - at least, not until she raids the tin you so carelessly left on the worktop…

I would be fuming I absolutely feel your pain! Not into pizza but it's like a Tesco curry with an actual curry for an Indian takeaway.
