I'm not a prude. Just don't see what the gap betweeen Daisy Duke's legs has got to do with a safe box....

NoTouch · 28/04/2024 12:47

Those shorts don't look practical for whatever job she is going to do with that huge spanner.

But, I agree. What has a big spanner got to do with a safe box?

Dartmoorcheffy · 28/04/2024 12:51

They have achieved EXACTLY what they aimed for. By you posting about it, their item will now get thousands more views.

legalseagull · 28/04/2024 12:52

But how else would buyers know that women will want to shag them if they buy the super manly product

chaticat · 28/04/2024 12:56

Weird

Does that make it right then?

Perhaps I should strip off when I take the photos of the mirror I'm going list?

lonerider · 28/04/2024 13:04

Were you trying to put a spanner in the works OP?
(I'll get my coat😬).
I think a bloke in skimpy shorts with a sledge hammer would be a better add!

CurlewKate · 28/04/2024 13:05

It's so depressing to hen we have to fight the same battles AGAIN and AGAIN...

I think it probably breaches advertising guidelines of sexualising women. I thought I read somewhere that decapitating women in an advert like that and just showing the skimpily clad body was a bit dodgy for adverts.

That won't help them. lf they have lots of views that don't lead to sales, that has a negative impact on their 'best match' ranking

Yalta · 28/04/2024 14:48

I want to know what a woman’s arse cheeks has to do with selling a safe

or are they hoping to sell to people who think they get the arse cheeks as well😂

I would buy this and complain that I didn’t get the big spanner as well

Soubriquet · 28/04/2024 14:49

Bit random I suppose but it doesn’t bother me

Ah, that’s where her head went

CurlewKate · 28/04/2024 14:54

@Soubriquet "Bit random I suppose but it doesn’t bother me"

Out of interest- why not?

5128gap · 28/04/2024 14:55

YANBU. When I'm shopping for Daisy Dukes I want to see what they look like on a model my shape and size. And I don't know what's with the security stuff? I suppose someone thought that was 'arty'. As for a woman with a spanner? PC gone mad!

Desperatelyneedabreak · 28/04/2024 14:56

It's weird but I wouldn't care if I saw it I wouldn't even register it tbh.

penjil · 28/04/2024 15:01

Oh, stop clutching your pearls.

Have you seriously got nothing else to be worried about?

Find a hobby!

@Soubriquet "Bit random I suppose but it doesn’t bother me"

Because it’s just a body. I don’t find it sexual at all.

Are you trying to say her head is in the safe? 😱

I thought it was against advertising guidelines too.

HelloWorld68 · 28/04/2024 15:09

The saddest part of this thread is the posters who don't see anything wrong with it.

I assume younger posters who didn't have to put with this shit pushed into their faces when growing up.

The fact that it is (probably) against advertising standards tells you all you need to know. There is something wrong with it.

peakygold · 28/04/2024 15:10

There are A LOT worse things on ebay! You can buy lollipops which have been sucked (listings have appropriate photos), tights which have allegedly been worn by air stewardesses (with sexy photos), used/dirty underwear, and all sorts of other questionable things to satisfy the predilections of men. I used to report them occasionally, but I can't be bothered now.
