AIBU?

To be annoyed there are never any bras in my size?

I hate going bra shopping as they rarely seem to have any of the smaller size bras (34A/AA) and if they do it's just an odd one at the back of a rail or something.

I already feel embarrassed about my lack of boobs so doesn't help that I often walk away empty handed! I usually have to try them on as I find that I'm a different size in some shops so online isn't really an option.

Where should I shop?! AIBU to think shops should cater for smaller sizes? Fed up of feeling like a child!

I've got quite small boobs too, I just buy bras online and send them back if I need to.

I love having small boobs!

have you tried sister sizes? 34A is a 32B from a breast volume point of view, which is much easier to get hold of.

I have a broad back and small boobs - a 38A is almost impossible to find!

I went round a whole city centre looking for a bra in a 28E (would have settled for a 30DD) and came away with nothing. In several major chain shops there wasn’t any size, at all, in a 30 or 28 back.

had to go to the out of town shopping centre eventually

Maybe we should swap locations as there were a tonne in 34A

I find Ann Summers shops always have a good stock of sizes. I have a larger breast size but I can never find mine either.
as somebody else said if you got a a 32b that should fit you too

Are you really 34AA? That's pretty unusual. What clothes size are you? Mumsnet's a bit weird on bra size and I'm no fan of the boob or bust method (look it up if you've not heard of it) but is it possible you might be better with a smaller band? Or just a bralette/crop top?

I similarly struggle with 32G. Seems to be a shortage generally!

Size 10/12 on top and size 12/14 on bottom since having DC. Gained weight everywhere except my chest🙄

I hate to be the first person to ask this but have you measured to find out if that's definitely your size? Lots of women are wearing a bra too big in the back and too small in the cup.

M&S measuand me as a 40C but I'm really a 36GG

Interesting! I was measured at M&S. Not sure which places are recommend for accurate measurements?

34AA means you measure the same under your bust and over the bust e.g. 34 inches for both. Is this the case?

If you're a 10-12 it's unlikely you're a 34. Try a 30B/C, 32B etc.

This. If I had to buy a supermarket bra I'd do this as I need a 30 and they start at a 32.

I'd say a true 34A is pretty rare, isn't that only an inch difference between over and under bust?

Too much faff for me, especially as I need them asap and can't be hanging around waiting for refunds etc!

Hello twin! Impossible to find them in this size.

And maternity bras! Ha ha! My boobs never got big enough for them but I wanted the front fastening to breast feed.

To get a rough idea you could measure under tour bust fairly tightly and that would give your back size. Measure around the fullest part of your bust and the difference between the 2 measurements will give a cup size. E.g. 1 inch = A , 2 inches = B, etc

Another one saying double check your size, Boob or Bust or an independent like Rosie (photo from her Instagram).

I'm a 36A, broad back and flat chested, and have the same problem.

I don't get the idea that a smaller band size and larger cup would fit me. I tried it and the cups were baggy and empty and the band was incredibly painful.

I have just discovered the Sloggi ZERO Feel Ultra Bralette, which comes in S M L instead. It is a great fit and really comfy

Thank you, I'm going to get measured again as think this could be it!

Can you measure yourself under your bust?

For reference I wear a 34 band comfortably and am a 12-14 in clothes

Yes, it is a pain with smaller boobs - one advantage of middle aged spread is that at least I'm a normative boob size, but when I was a 30 back and/or A or AA cup finding bras was a nightmare.

I wear a 36 back and am size 20/22 on the top (36GG)
