Everyone seems to hate Bing and his ‘whiny’ behaviour but I think it’s a great programme which teaches toddlers about empathy and making the right decisions.

Granted Bing often makes the wrong decision but he always learns a lesson from it and so does my toddler when watching it. I’ve found it useful when explaining concepts in a simple way e.g sharing.

I don’t get all the Bing hate! Give me Bing over crappy Cocomelon or any other equally shit overstimulating programme any day. I also think the Bing world looks lovely and I’d quite like to live there🤣

I do like a bit of Bing and Frank sometimes.

I loved Bing! I loved Fopp even more. It was light relief from Thomas the Tank engine who was the most annoying form of transport ever. Not a cheeky engine, just an idiot that never listened to advice until it was too late.

Noo I quite liked Flop, patience of a Saint that one.

I did think Bing was a brat but I also was fond Peppa Pig. For me Ben and Holly is the absolute bees knees.

My 6 year old has restarted watching these toddler programmes and I'm very much enjoying the return of Nanny Plum and the Wise Old Elf.

What programmes do you prefer?

I think Bing's cute. Coco is the worst as she's much older and still acts like a toddler snatching things away and being a know it all.

YABU and I’m very glad my kids are now too old for it.

I hate that he doesn’t speak properly - I want my toddler to mimic “I sat” not “I sitted”. And the wet blanket “parenting” when, for example Pando won’t get off the swing or Bing is deliberately disobedient, breaks something, bins it and then lies about it, really winds me up.

Cocomelon can get in the bin too.

I remain fond of Hey Duggee, Octonaughts, Blaze and the Monster Machines, Thomas the Tank Engine and the earlier seasons of Paw Patrol.

Bing is fine but it's cool to hate him on MN. He's not even that whiney he's just a toddler, and people call flop sanctimonious but all he ever is is patient and understanding while teaching bing a lesson, which is exactly what parents and caregivers should do. It's a sign of their own guilt and bad parenting.

Bluey is the only actually good kids TV show. Hey Duggee next best. The tier destined for hell includes Ben and Holly, Peppa Pig and fucking WAFFLE.

Almost woke the toddler up stifling a laugh at that. He hates waffle.

He likes Bing but he’s much keener on Go Jetters and Octonauts. He loved Bluey for ages but his Dad has overplayed it. Jojo and Gran Gran is great; Sarah and Duck, Clangers is an absolute hit, he likes to say the name of the characters in Night Garden.

I don’t mind Bing, but I’ve watched the whole series and they’re a lot of unanswered questions. What is Flop? Where are the adults? Is Padget a sociopath (note her reaction when Pando boots Bing in the face on the swing)?

Its also only fair to big up Amma, the absolute legend.
