Everyone seems to hate Bing and his ‘whiny’ behaviour but I think it’s a great programme which teaches toddlers about empathy and making the right decisions.

Granted Bing often makes the wrong decision but he always learns a lesson from it and so does my toddler when watching it. I’ve found it useful when explaining concepts in a simple way e.g sharing.

I don’t get all the Bing hate! Give me Bing over crappy Cocomelon or any other equally shit overstimulating programme any day. I also think the Bing world looks lovely and I’d quite like to live there🤣

I don't mind it but I do wish they had more episodes on iplayer. There are only 2 seasons- we must be working our way through for the 100th time I think!
Its much better than waffle which dd also loves.
I quite like bluey- she doesn't mind that when it's on cbebbies but not to the point she will watch it on iplayer.
I refuse to let her watch peppa pig- partly the program itself and partly work related trauma!

It's the mis-speaking that gets me reaching for the remote control tbh. Probably the same reason I can't be doing with Waffle 😂

Hey Duggee is the perennial favourite here. We do like Bluey but like with Bing I think there are times when the 'lesson' isn't explicitly made clear to the children watching and therefore it can make it look like whatever behaviour they are trying to highlight is ok.

We as adults get it, but to a toddler I think Bing in particular sometimes just looks like a brat doing horrible things, if you don't manage to pick out the underlying point.

Anybody sense a lot of unresolved romantic tension between Flop and Amma? They’ve got history. It’d be good if they made a prequel series.

while I’m admitting crimes - I don’t get the Bluey hype. I watched about four episodes and found the dad waaaay to energetic for my liking. If my kids think I’m gonna be a robot or freeze with a magic xylophone so they can draw on my face and spray me with a hose because I’m just THAT much fun they’re gonna learn a life lesson lol

(I will probably watch more episodes and get on the Bluey train eventually)

Bing is an asshole! He stoke, killed a butterfly, broke Flop's phone and put it in the bin, amongst other things! My now 8yo agrees with me

But they have to stop claiming universal things as "a Bing thing". The swings are not "a Bing thing".

Bing is evil and Flop is a peanut that's smoked too much weed. No one could naturally be that calm around such a terror.

While we're admitting our thoughtcrimes, I really didn't think Sleepytime was all that. We love Bluey in this house, but I think Flatpack was the real tearjerker of season 2.

I didn’t mind it and I do find it’s quite good for addressing toddler dramas. But my three year old does mimic the voices which I hate. I don’t like bluey much, though.

Cbeebies have changed their lineup recently which already pissed me right off as we used to get a good half hour snuggled in bed on weekend mornings watching Twirlywoos, etc. now it’s those 2 annoying show me show me dickheads with their hand-puppets and stupid songs.and on top of this, they’ve introduced a few new, really fucking shit shows recently. Game Catchers and Vida the Vet are so infuriatingly shit. I have to turn Vida off as soon as it comes on because she has such an annoying voice. It feels better to get that out.

YABU, Bing is a twat and Bluey is where it's at.

The only way in which Bing is not the worst, is when he’s standing next to Pando, who is satan.
