God I love the reboot. It's so corny and cheesy and amazing. Well done BBC for getting this revival so so right.

Yes I agree we've loved the series in our house.

I also agree that Legend has pitched his persona right. Viper is too grumpy /over the top to be an entertaining "baddie".

I love how competitive Sabre and Diamond are. They really want to win against the contenders and it's refreshing not to have to buy into standard female stereotypes.

Our favourites are Legend (Ds), Athena (DD1), and Nitro (Dd2).

Legend is my favourite as well, with his wide hips.

Giant's muscles are absolutely ridiculous it should be said. The fact that it looks like about six new ones are produced just by him standing and grinning is hilarious.

Viper is a bad guy for the kids. Legend is a bad guy for the grown ups.

Fury is my favourite, followed by Nitro!

Please can I add Giant into the mix? I have to look away when he does his freaky pecs thing, but he seems so lovely!

Mind you, DS is a Bionic fan and DH likes Nitro. So it might quicker to say that Viper is a waste of space and the women need to develop a bit more personality before series 2. Possible exemption for Fury, we quite like her as well.

Fury, Nitro & Steel are our faves. I really enjoy watching legends interviews too. Absolutely love the re-boot, hope they are planning series 2 already!

I don’t know which one is which but the guy talking about his weight tonight really made us laugh. He’s excellent.

We're so enjoying Gladiators. Although we were talking about the ref from the old series and apparently he's now "partially retired" at the age of 92!

Fury and Steel for me. DP has a thing for Sabre. Dd likes Diamond. 12 year old DS just looks a bit shell-shocked the whole time 😆

Honestly I'm in love with the reboot and will be gutted when the series ends.

Nitro, Legend, and Viper. None of the others stand out and could be easily replaced by other bodybuilders.

We are loving it too - my 3 year old does all the poses at the start, often starts football matches ‘on my first whistle’ and is still asking me if Finley’s leg is better yet 😂 His favourite is giant, legend maybe my 7 years olds, mine is Fury and DH probably Dynamite. Great family viewing and so much better than the drawn out American programmes with 10mins content in an hour like floor is lava and is it cake.
