This is meant as a light hearted thread so please share your stories (if anything to make me feel better
)
DS is 3 and non verbal (genetic condition and possible ASD) and we were watching an animal thing on YouTube practicing words and actions but he can't speak properly so for example he'll say whaa for whale, caaa for cat etc anyway we were watching and he was saying these sorts of words and doing the actions for the animals when a big fat panda bear came on stuffing it's cute face with bamboo and as clear as day DS says "mummy" like what the heck my little dude, don't do this to me.
I'm hoping he was saying it out of context but I was proud he said an actual word but also very offended
It gave me a good chuckle.
Has yours or other kids humbled you or just embarrassed you for fun?
