Going to be a long one work (again)

Started April last year
Developed a health condition we are still trying to diagnose basically vitamin not being absorbed, bones hurt, tired, joint pain, twisted joints. Partner had a heart attack during dr strikes didn't get full treatment this was rectified Friday.
Car died
I am learning to drive but couldn't get test till April this year and shouldn't be cos codeine for pain
I got then to extend probation as couldn't drive in Oct
New hr manager wants me to go in Tuesday for a meeting won't say why.

I'm tired, feel crap and want self cert Mon and tue as I am off rest of week for more tests.

Should I suck it up like I have been or call in..

Why do you think they may sack you? That seems a bit of a stretch if you haven't been calling in sick regularly before?

You book an appointment for bloods at 8:30 or 5:00 and miss no more than an hour at the beginning or end of the day for blood tests surely???

Nope it's supposed.to.be regional and I can get.places fine plus currently it's documentation they need.

Because I booked it as holiday -.before I knew I was going back for.tests.

Then they're not going to sack you for 2 days self cert and a few days of annual leave.

I have a weekly treatment at the hospital but I book it for 9am and then go straight back to work and make the time up by starting work at 7.30 and working for an hour then at home. I think you're taking the piss a bit if you're off all week for some blood tests which will take about ten mins.

If your job includes a regional area than being able to drive does not sound like 'it's in peoples heads'.

Was passing your driving test an expectation of the job offer and why your probation was extended in Oct?

I think more detail and clarity is required otherwise you won't get many supportive replies.
