Can you ask the bride by not asking what her colour scheme is but by saying will I be OK in pale pink ?

Looks like a 1960s polyester nightgown. It’s not inappropriate or anything but it’s really not nice.

If you've got a massive bump ie obviously pregnant, not just a bit podgy, you can pretty much get away with anything.
I had one (black) maternity dress. It had to do anything that required more than jeans or work wear! And, yes, it went to a wedding.

I think its fine. If you love it and feel comfortable (i'm guessing you're pregnant), then go for it. I wouldn't listen to the posters who don't like it because you don't know their style! Unless they can provide you with alternatives to check out!

I had one like this when I was 7. Lucky I didn't get too close to the fire or I'd have gone up like a rocket.
