AIBU?

It wasn't supposed to be windy in London tonight.

Is it just my street? no warnings at all, but far stronger wind than Isha two nights ago. More damage already, more noise, more banging. AIBU to be a bit bewildered by all this? We got hit hard by Hank recently, no warning at all, and multiple trees down/roads closed and disruption. What is happening now?

It’s blowing a right bastard gale here in Yorkshire. Which is especially annoying as I can’t put the recycling out (well I could but it would end up in next door’s tree as stupid bloody Council bags don’t have lids) - meaning I have to forgo my lie in tomorrow to wake up and put them out for 6am

I checked the wind forecast for the week ahead during the weekend's storm and tonight was forecast to be v windy then, and so it has proven. The weather app isn't saying it's as windy as Saturday night, not by about 20km for the gusts, but presumably localized weather can be v variable. Stay safe!

It’s windy in my part of London too (unsurprisingly). I had heard Jocelyn was on her way though!

Omg two nights ago was massive! The 'moderate wind' warning was a joke - no other storm in the last two years has managed to totally overturn my outdoor armchairs.
Tonight it's windy but not nearly as bad (SW London).

I'm in Essex, but London and Essex forecasts both warned of high winds and another named storm. Yellow warning for Lonon I think.

No warning here but very windy in Essex. I can hear it howling as I type.

It's windy in East London but not nearly as bad as Sunday night was.

I had scaffolding up! At 9pm the top level boards were about to come crashing down on my kitchen roof, so I had to go up there to bring them down. No easy feat in 50mph+ gusts. Pretty exhilarating though!

Surprisingly windy in Devon too.

It sounds worse tonight in the Midlands than the other storm, I think we were lucky the other night as it wasn't really that bad. I know there was a Tornado warning even for the other storm (dunno bout this one) did that happen anywhere does anyone know?

I think it's further south than forecast. It's windy in Wiltshire too, unexpectedly so.

I hope everyone is safe, particularly in Scotland under the actual orange warning. If its this bad here it might be much worse there.

We were orange for Isha and are Yellow now for Joclyn (se ireland). It was pretty gusty the other night but is fierce gusty here right now. And I heard a rather ominous sound earlier and now will need to go check my roof in the morning for missing tiles :/
