To be still sat in my jammies

When I have 7 family coming for Christmas get together at 3pm?

Is it too early to crack open the Baileys?

DH is hoovering and dusting downstairs.

I have a cat on my lap.

Looking forward to seeing everyone but also would like to spend the day in my jammies.

I'm in my pjs and I have family coming at 2:30, house is clean, I have loads in and am convinced I'll cobble something together Grin

Blimey. I’m still in jammies after getting in at 3am (bloody dirty stop out)

I’ve got a kitchen to clear up (did cooked herself dinner last night and appear to have used every surface and utensil) and I need to make a batch of cakes at some point.

and a pie. I need to make a pie.

I didn’t get dressed at all yesterday! Changed my smart Christmas pjs for normal (clean) ones at lunchtime so I could put Christmas ones in the wash ready for weekend away. DS didn’t get dressed either. DH thinks we are scuzzy layabouts, we don’t care.

You lucky people, swanning around in pj's. I'm only dressed because I jumped out of bed suddenly remembering that the bin men were coming this morning. (the usual post-Christmas bin-day re-jig) and , guess what, they still haven't turned up yet grrr!!

I'm in my jammies too and have nobody coming round thankfully. Going to stay in my jammies and big fluffy dressing gown and just chill all day. It's snowing here anyway so no point getting dressed!

Today is the first day I have dressed since 21 December. It feels grown up. Only done it as hubby is shampooing the carpets and all windows are open.

I like sitting around in my pyjamas if I'm not seeling well or haven't slept well the night before, but when people are coming round? No, I'd be cleaning, cooking/preparing food, making myself look presentable.

Outside of Christmas I spend one day a week in my pyjamas and loaf around the house, reading books and pretending to do housework.

Tomorrow is set aside as my Christmas PJ day (don’t celebrate NYE)

It doesn’t harm anyone…

I can't think of anything worse than staying in pyjamas all day. Even if I'm ill. I'm up showered and dressed!

I sometimes wear pyjamas all day but I shower and put on clean ones. They're clothes so I consider myself dressed.
