To think fair play to Coleen

OK so obviously in the grand scheme of things it is all bloody ridiculous. However I have just watched the Coleen Rooney doc on Disney and think yeah fair play.

She never wanted the court case, that was all Rebecca Vardy and clearly she was right in what she originally posted.

I think she came across really likeable.

Yes, I agree, she came across really well and Vardy was a prize fool to ever take it to court knowing full well she was guilty of colluding with her PA.

I can't believe RV actually took it to court, who was advising her? The mind boggles.

How creepy were the paps getting photos of a 16 year old Coleen in her uniform? Surely that wouldn't be allowed now.

Totally agree. The pictures in her uniform made me so uncomfortable.

I hope times have changed since then.

I agree, can't understand why Vardy went ahead with the court case. The text's really did not show her in a good light at all.
Fair play to Colleen, she has not had it easy with Wayne either

I totally agree. Colleen came across very likeable and so down to earth. What on earth was Vardy expecting with that court case? The woman’s delusional. I can’t wait to see if she decides to put her side across. I’d love to know what nonsense she’s going to come out with!

One of the (many) Vardy low moments in the programme for me was the text exchange after CR had unfollowed and RVs publicist clocked it and told her, RV then suggested she would test the water by talking to her about Rosie.

Yes, that was dreadful.

The footage of coleen with Rosie was adorable, albeit very heart wrenching.

At the beginning, before anything had been mentioned about Rosie, there was footage of coleen coming in from school and giving her a cuddle. Then the footage of Coleen cuddling her when Rosie was lying on the bed laughing and the explanation of how she was adopted etc. All very poignant and she seemed like such a good big sister.

Have never heard of RV apart from this and agree she came off very badly. Also cannot understand why on earth she took it to court.

I watched it and thought Coleen came over well generally but I don't understand why she felt the 300 people on her private page were so loyal to her. She didnt seem to have even met Rebekah V so how many others were similar. She seemed a bit social media obsessed but overall definitely nicer than RV.

He’s all she’s known. She knows what he’s like and she’s choosing to stay, that’s her business.

Yeah but people in stay relationships for all sorts of reasons.

You can tell she loves him doesn't want break-up the family. I can't imagine it would be easy to walk away from the only man you've ever known. That's completely her choice

I've got a lot of respect for Coleen Rooney.

Mind you, almost anyone looks like a nice person compared with Rebekah Vardy.

And when RV team tried to question how the business accounts on her private IG could be perceived as a private relationship per say, she was able to tell them how she's known the owner since they were kids etc.

You'd think the money they were being paid they would have such checked details before cross examining with them Grin

I know, you do have to wonder about RV's legal team. I can only assume they thought they would be able to settle without going to court.

I'm not fully aware of what went on between CR & RV, but i saw a doc recently made by RV about her life growing up as a Jehovah's Witness. It was interesting & i wonder how much of an influence her difficult childhood has had on her.

Do agree CR seems dignified and level headed.

That's what's odd! CR tried to settle out of court several times apparently and RV wouldn't have it. So peculiar when the evidence was plain as day.

I thought she came across so lovely in the documentary. She is so down to earth and all the wealth doesn't seem to have affected her at all.
