If your mind immediately jumps to "he must be cheating" you probably shouldn't be in the relationship in the first place.

It's not likely a woman, sometimes people do turn their phones off. If this is all the evidence you have I wouldn't jump to cheating tbh.

Rule of thumb: People who don't want to be disturbed by their phone leave it in another room. People who don't want to be incriminated by their phone never leave it out of their sight.

It's a new thing. He's depressed at the moment and our sex life has 90% stopped. Earlier he said he couldn't remember who but someone's told him our puppy breed (frenchie and pug) is likely getting banned but can't recall who he's been talking to about our puppy. Social media is proven to cause depression. Perhaps he’s trying to help himself by getting off social media and the phone is off & in another room so he can avoid the temptation.
