What is your idea of hell on earth?

So nothing biblical.

For me today it was ASDA, 1pm on a Sunday, event going on nearby so huge amount of traffic to get in, even longer queues inside, screaming kids, adults barging by you, having to queue for customer service.

Anything else would include cave diving, pot holing or being on a submarine.

Disneyland.

Busy soft play.

Bars and pubs that are so full you can’t get served and there’s nowhere to stand without being bumped into constantly.

Crowded train services.

Karaoke. Watching or participating, even the thought makes me shudder.

Working booth 1 in McDonald's on a night shift. I came very close to walking out very many times, having to do the "washing up" on my own at 4am, the constant bing bongs in my ear, the twatty cunts who thought they were funny, it was like torture.

I’m assuming this is lighthearted. A few years ago when Ed Sheeran played 2 nights at Roundhay Park, I lived quite close by. Sound check started at about 1pm, and then we could hear the gig clearly no matter where we sat in the house. That was pretty awful.

One of those indoor trampoline places opened on an industrial estate a few towns away from our village. Indoor trampoline bounce party with unlimited wall of fill your own slushies. Place stinks of sweat and feet. Staff are sullen whey faced teens and the floor is sticky from stinky spilled slushies.

the place has an undertone of aggression with lots of parents with neck tattoos and lip fillers. Lots of swearing. At children. At one another.

Grim.

Hell.

Never ever again.

Also being in hospital, I discharged myself from the postnatal ward, actually feeling trapped anywhere.

Sitting on the floor next to the toilets of a massively overcrowded train from London to Edinburgh with a migraine.

Ha! Yup! I did ASDA at 2pm on a Sunday about 3 weeks ago and regretted every moment of it! And on top of the other customers and general public, because they close at 4 and the staff finish not long after they are out with the cages blocking the aisles restocking ready for Monday morning!

But also camping. I don't want to go and spend time anywhere without a reliable toilet.

Wales.

A nightclub where I have to wear high heels and a skimpy dress and be leered at by some slimy oik who follows me round whilst I desperately try to find the exit.

To have to try not be sick from the smell of a pot wash in a restaurant kitchen and hearing or seeing Barry Manilow.

Ikea on a bank holoday Monday.

Being made to go on a spa day.

Anywhere with loud sweary badly dressed Brits really. It’s so embarrassing.
Just shut up.

One time i was on a megabus with an exbf who was an ex at the time. Just so happened be coming home from uni at the same time. The toilet smelled so bad that the driver got out and sat at the edge of the motorway and refused to drive it any further. It was valentines day and we made awkward small talk in the worst smelling bus for 3 and a half hours until they sent a replacement.

The 12 hours I spent at Schiphol Airport yesterday after my plane was diverted there for a medical emergency and then couldn’t take off again.

All things Conferences. Ice breakers. Break out groups. Networking.

Cruises. Just float round on a massive ship seeing feck all until you get 4 hours in a really lovely destination along with 5000 others at the exact same time. The rest of the time you are trapped with a load of randoms some of whom will probably want to try and make friends shudders

Car parks with the up/down spiral. Premier Inns with on-site but limited parking.
