To think I’m too old at 28 to wear crop tops and short dresses

Nothing against anyone the same age that does.

You can wear whatever you want. But you don’t get to age shame other women who choose to wear short dresses and crop tops because you have some regressive ideas.

I’m 51 and I still wear short dresses (not crop tops but nothing to do with age). I’m pretty fit and have good legs if I say so myself.

If anyone is small minded enough to judge me for this because of my age it’s not my fucking problem it’s theirs.

I’m 37 and still wear these things. I work hard for my figure so why shouldn’t I show it off?

Don’t be daft. I’m 30 and still wear both. If you have a cracking figure it helps.

I also regularly wear crop tops for day to day shopping, errands, etc. always with a high waist bottom though. I work damn hard for my abs and will always live by the mantra that I will never again be this young or this thin!

Unless you mean total fanny skimmers (which do look very young) there’s nothing wrong with a short dress.

Crop tops I think should be limited to the gym at any age, I don’t want to see anyones midriff - it’s like butt cheeks and excessive cleavage - however lovely you are, it’s not for public display.

That view depresses me to be honest! I’m older and I wear short stuff. I also see people my age (30s) wearing high waisted trousers/jeans and crop tops and it looks good, I’ve not quite worked out that look but I don’t think I’m too old

There's no age limit, nor is it relevant what you or anyone else thinks your legs or abs or any other part of your body looks like. What's relevant is how comfortable and appropriate for the occasion the clothing is (e.g. short skirts aren't sensible if you're walking through brambles).

No you're not too old. I'm mid 30s and wear crop tops, occasionally short skirts and dresses but would more often if I was nicer to myself about my legs. I've never seen a section in clothes shops saying "only for under 30" etc etc, wear whatever you like and feel comfortable in

Definitely not. My DSs partner is your age and is always wearing crop top shorts and playsuit. She looks great in them.
I'm fairly slim and 66 and whilst I wouldn't wear a crop top anymore I do still wear above the knee skirts and shorts. These days shorts only on holiday. I also wear strappy tops and vests on holiday.
I'm lucky in that I'm old enough not to worry about what others think.

I mean it's literally the dressing gown and socks I just changed out of and were picked up immediately afterwards but, you know, focus on that instead of the fabulous outfit ✨

Just wear what you like. I do find it unnecessary that you put restrictions on what you wear but it’s up to you.

Im early 40s, I wear leggings and a crop top to run in. I wear short dresses in summer or for a night out sometimes.

Your casual is similar to mine :) I wish I'd the confidence to wear your going out outfit too.
