I don't think it reads like one of his children has written it - I'm no expert but it sounds like someone of Osborne's age and within his wider social/political circle, just out to make mischief.

It's a mean thing to do as it casts suspicion on everyone - I hope his ex-wife and other people damaged by his and her alleged behaviour are not suffering any embarrassment by all of this.

Definitely sounds like his daughter wrote that as there is so much personal details of their childhood.
