Aibu unreasonable to ask you your most favourite 90’s song? Something you go back to again and again especially when you’re drunk or high…

Yes!! Rarely heard these days. Me and DH bonded over this song when we first met, I knew some lyric he had been debating in his head, ah the innocence of pre-google days. We even played it at our wedding.

Brilliant thread, thank you OP

This is a lovely thread and reminds me of some compilations CDs (remember them) I had back then as a teenager/early 20s. I can never name a favourite song/film/book etc but I remember lying on a beach on Guernsey where my then bf was fro. with my CD Walkman listening to a compilation with some real anthems which will take me back to that time. Suede, the Verve and Massive attack spring to mind. Also bands I went to see and festivals were Divine Comedy, Carter USM, The Wonderstuff, Billy Bragg (still going strong) and loads more. It was so much easier then to turn up to a student union or wherever. I remember buying tickets to Reading Festival and Glastonbury just by walking in to HMV . I absolutely had to be at Reading when the Pixies headlined and that was meant to be their farewell. Now my teenager loves them and the have reformed. They are still one of my favourite bands of all time.
