Are you serious @artichikeheart? You don't think that referring to women as non men in this, or any other context, is problematic? No change for men, but women are non men? What does a non-binary man or woman who is gay refer to themselves as? You can't be gay because you'd have to identify as a man or woman to be gay so is non-binary a sexuality too but then it doesn't actually say whether someone is straight or gay. (I'm asking the question as I actually don't know the answer, rather than making a joke out of it).

This is absolutely ludicrous. How can anyone say this isn’t an attack on women? Men get to stay men but we get to be non-men.

Then non binary people can choose their own word to describe who they are and not appropriate the word lesbian to suit their own needs and not the needs of lesbians who are, BY THEIR OWN DEFINITION, WOMEN!

So in the passage below, why aren't men refered to as "non-women" then? You truly don't see the issue with that?

Why can't they just say that a lesbian is a person who considers themselves a woman and who is attracted to people they consider to be women? That seems more inclusive to me, and doesn't place the term "man" above the term "woman" in the way their current nonsense does. It almost certainly has its own issues, though....

I don’t think two non-binary male-bodied people would ever describe themselves as a lesbian couple. I could be wrong, obviously, but I know a fair few non-binary people, and none of them do.
