Fifty plus and overweight although trying to slim down. Bought some big M and S pants and am a complete convert! So comfortable. They look like granny pants but they don’t ride up, pinch or try to cut me in two. DH seems to still fancy me in them which is a bonus, I suppose.

please tell me I’m not the only elderly, fat saddo who only wants to wear giant Bridget knickers!

Big pants and non-underwired bras all the live long day here (and I'm a J cup!). Wonderfully comfortable and I am NEVER going back.

From my 20 my knickers got bigger every decade, going from bikini to shorts to midi (or were those last two the other way round?) and then to full. So comfy, I can't imagine skimpy ones now.

I'm in my 20's and converted a few years ago after my 2nd child 🤣🤣 headed to child 4 and my 30s are round the corner and have no intentions whatsoever of going back 😍

I bought some big maternity pants by accident but they are so comfy almost like a smoothing body suit under my trousers 🩲

I've worn them forever, and never had any complaints. Like never. If they're more interested in underwear than you, throw them back.

Big pants are amazing - even better than M&S big pants get "chub rub preventer pants". Look at the Big Bloomers Company or Snag - both are awesome. They make walking so comfortable and honestly I've got more exercise since I got them!

I'm in my late 50s and I've worn Sloggi maxi briefs since I can't even remember. Probably since my 20s.
I don't give a shit.
I told my husband to be that I didn't care what he thought of them so he just accepted it.

37 here and never worn a thong. I like my bum cheeks warm and don’t like having a wedgie. As far as I’m aware everyone who has seen the outline of my pants has so far survived it.

Yep, me too (wearing big pants since my 30s, not suggesting to this poster's husband that he wear my skimpy knickers).

I wear big firm control pants every day. I've recently lost 2 stone and can't give them up.

I can't sleep in them though as they are very uncomfortable.

I’ve been a size 6-14 and everything in between, and could never find pants that didn’t ride up my bottom, especially on my left side. Whether big or small, they always did.

Until someone on MN recommended the biggest and least flattering pants in the world. Wirapa, which look like mens y-fronts, but are ever so comfortable and stay put. They’re cotton, come right up to my belly button, and have never ever moved. I couldn’t be happier.

I'm well into big pants, also wire free bras, cardigans, chunky cotton socks, and anoraks. Comfort rules.
