The grass wasn’t only greener, it was like being given a pair of Technicolor specs and realising that the past two decades had gradually dimmed to something closer to grey and white. But that’s just me. Good luck OP Flowers

Depends on the state of your current lawn. If it's just a bit tired and boring, you'll probably find that once you get used to the new one, one patch of grass is pretty much like the next.
