It’s just quite odd…all this with Philip Schofield, then Alison Hammond was brought in, talk of blackmail in the news and she’s not on this week anymore…what on earth goes on over there 🤷🏻‍♀️

PS has put up an Instagram post saying he now no longer has a brother ......

Inkanta · 03/04/2023 16:53

PS brother found guilty of sexually abusing the teenager for 3 years.

PS has put up an Instagram post saying he now no longer has a brother ......

Was this when the the brother told him about the situation or after the court made a judgement?

CheerstoUs · 03/04/2023 17:22

Just seen this. I'm a bit confused by his statement. Has he said that he told the police straight away when his brother made the confession?

Inkanta · 03/04/2023 17:29

Looks like Phillip Schofield ignored the predatory and exploitative sexual activities of his brother towards the teenager but now after judgement disowns Timothy Schofield.

rainbowstardrops · 03/04/2023 17:47

@ItIsFiat this afternoon, after his brother was found guilty

NillyNoMates · 03/04/2023 17:49

PS said he was told some stuff by his brother in 2021, but didn’t report it as he felt no crime had been committed. Turns out his brother had been abusing the boy since he was 13. PS is saying he didn’t know the full story.

PomRuns · 03/04/2023 17:55

Doesn’t that just show exactly what he is. Awful behaviour.

But he already knew the situation with his brother and what he'd done. So he only disowned him once a judgement had been made. That makes him doubly weak. Obviously he had no problem with what his brother had done but has been advised if he was found guilty to disown him, for the sake of his career. Have the courage of your convictions at least PS!

rainbowstardrops · 03/04/2023 18:08

Absolutely @MeinKraft!

I very much doubt in reality he will disown him.

OneFrenchEgg · 03/04/2023 18:29

Urgh how cowardly. What was he going to do, wait to see which way the wind blew? This isn't a surprise outcome where he's heard loads of new evidence in court, his brother told him what he was up to.

Butidontwanttogotoarobbieconcert · 03/04/2023 18:44

All for Pr, to save his slot on This morning

He knew about it, didn’t disown him then and didn’t report him and save a poor child from being abused.

If he’s back on our screens, it only confirms that he has a ton of shit on people higher up at itv and it all needs investigating as he obviously must know some pretty bad things.

Will he have the gall to go back on TV after this?

Butidontwanttogotoarobbieconcert · 03/04/2023 19:00

@JaneJeffer I reckon he’d have the gall, the question is how on earth they could allow it

I just wonder what is propelling OP to keep this nasty thread going?

So you support pedophiles do you, like Phil is and his brother?

If it was that nasty a thread I’m sure MNHQ would have demanded it be taken down, but they haven’t done so, have they?

ChangedmynameagainforChristmas · 03/04/2023 20:15

No I do not, but I wonder about the agenda here given that OP is clearly revelling in the gossip. I wish I had not joined in earlier but I felt the need to defend a friend. This thread is full of nastiness. I have better things to do now

Picoloangel · 03/04/2023 20:18

The OP made a fair point that TM has had more than its fair share of scandal/trouble/intrigue. It’s absolutely fair enough for people to be making the point that PA seems untouchable - this has been born out in numerous scandals and here we are again with another scandal. It’s indefensible that his brother confessed to him and that he failed to report it. If this was anyone else they would be out on their ear.
It isn’t unpleasant or unkind to wonder if there is a reason why ITV seem very reluctant to fire him.

I get what you’re saying and you’ve left the thread now but on certain shows and it’s obviously TM, if you piss the wrong people off, in these shows then others will gossip.

I do think TM has had its day now though.

Butidontwanttogotoarobbieconcert · 03/04/2023 20:33

@ChangedmynameagainforChristmas Eh? There are two/three other threads on at present about P.S and This morning. I haven’t set it out as a nasty thread, I’ve not said anything nasty at all. I DO think there are some odd going’s on at TM and things need to be investigated, yes, the majority of this seems to be about one person there. I’m sorry if this is your friend, but they don’t seem a great person tbh!

@ChangedmynameagainforChristmas I’m just wondering what is propelling you to keep trying to shut it down, how about the numerous other threads on the same subject? Should we not be able to discuss topics? My points were nasty or gossipy at all.

I feel like ITV need to read the room.

JenniferBooth · 03/04/2023 20:53

ITV care about their ratings. And thats it!

Butidontwanttogotoarobbieconcert · 03/04/2023 22:58

@JenniferBooth They don’t though as ratings went down and so many more people preferred Ruth & Eamon and other presenters. PS isn’t popular at all, itv aren’t listening to any of it 🤷🏻‍♀️
