It definitely seems to have gone downhill ... but Easter Egg choc tastes so different from ordinary chocolate bars imo!!

Great headline. You caught me out there!

DappledThings · 24/03/2023 11:36

Absolutely you should feel dirty. Still 17 days till Easter Eggs are a legitimate choice!

It is normal to feel this way the first time. Relax next time (the sooner the better) and realise that you just have to do what YOU feel comfortable with. Don't compare yourself to how others feel. Own your own body!

It took me a while to feel comfortable with this behaviour, probably 2 or even 3 days. Now it is like second nature and I can indulge in this behaviour on a regular basis

I can't remember the last Easter egg I ate that I actually enjoyed, any make. The chocolate is definitely different to normal year round chocolate, it's rank.

LuckyDonna · 24/03/2023 11:55

It's fine, as long as you did it in secret. Its like it didn't happen.

EyesOnThePies · 24/03/2023 11:56

ugh!

Cadbury’s chocolate is now rank, only outranked in rankness by Cadbury’s Easter Egg chocolate.

Plus the excess packaging of E Eggs and the bad value per 109g of chocolate.

Send yourself to a re-education camp immediately where your brain will be reprogrammed to head for the Lindt bunnies, or one of the Lindt flat packed all-year eggs known as ‘bars’.

mommatoone · 24/03/2023 12:15

Absolute filth! You should be ashamed of yourself.
🤣

Workawayxx · 24/03/2023 12:18

YANBU! About 3 weeks ago I bought a flake egg for DS and DP and I ate it one evening. I've now replaced it with a cream egg one which he likes even more and he was none the wiser so I'm not worrying too much

OneTC · 24/03/2023 12:20

As if cadburys has ever been nice 😅

Silvers11 · 24/03/2023 12:24

😂😂😂

Love it!! I LOVE Cadbury's easter eggs - and yes, they taste quite different to the ordinary chocolate. I did the same a couple of weeks ago!!

You certainly can't beat Lindt!!

Smarties eggs are the best! (Not the actual smarties though) Cadbury ranks the lowest for me!
I used to have an actual easter egg addiction, from boxing day when they'd be on the shelves I'd be eating them.
I seem to have moved from those to biscuits which is definitely not a good move!

KoalaPineapple · 24/03/2023 12:54

Don’t judge me… I had the biggest one they sell (crème egg one) as soon as they were in shops… I blame breastfeeding I’m a sugar queen atm ha!

MsWhitworth · 24/03/2023 13:09

The entire egg and the chocolate bars that came with it? Impressive!

EatYourVegetables · 24/03/2023 13:13

😧😧😧 It’s Lent!!!! 😧😧😧

(I’m not religious, just judgemental and jealous because I’m on a diet.)

Mycatisaqueen · 24/03/2023 13:15

Not tempted unless they're Mini Eggs!!

Eating chocolate is like having sex; if you end up filthy and with deep feeling of shame and self-loathing, it just means you're doing it right 🤣

Pixiedust1234 · 24/03/2023 13:24

Oh dear. I've already eaten several already. I don't feel dirty as I've been doing it as a taste tasting exercise. Still deciding between the creme egg and buttons ones. I think I need to keep testing...

DrPrunesquallor · 24/03/2023 13:25

Definitely didn’t think this post was about chocolate 🤪
YABU for conning us

YANBU for eating chocolate.
Doesn’t the world revolve around it
