and I just said what I was instructed to say - it isn't my fault if the things I was instructed to say were untrue, is it. I can't be expected to understand what is legal or illegal, it is too complicated. And anyway, I don't even think it matters.

I told you all I was telling the truth, how dare you waste taxpayers money pointing out I was lying, because these lies don't count, and it was all an honest mistake. I am the one being honest here

Well of course it's not your fault you have lied all your life and it's just brought you success how would you know this is different? I'd blame that nasty Captain Hindsight with his curry and beer, oh and don't forget to drag Rishi in it as much as possible.

Also, we don't have a written constitution, so I haven't broken it, and anyway, it is my right to break it, according to our unwritten constitution, and most of the country haven't been educated well enough to understand and accept this. We'd better cut funding to schools to make this better
