To like package holidays where the evening entertainment is a bit 'Phoenix Nights?'

You know - fancy dress competitions for the children, Bingo, drag acts, etc etc.

You know with the type of dance floors you see on clips of 'You've Been Framed' of people slipping over there on?

Hahaha i have stayed in places that have this stuff and my guilty pleasure was catching a bit before we go out for dinner. Its hilarious tacky fun, what’s not to love?

Car crash material and not in a way that I want to sit and watch, I just want to get the hell away from it all as quickly as possible!!
My mum absolutely loves this kind of stuff 😂 we don’t holiday together 🤣

Yep, love this. Not as fun now DD is older but still great. My parents wouldn't be seen dead in a place like that so I never got the experience until I was an adult and I loved every second.

We went on one holiday like that to Majorca when our kids were small.
They loved the kids disco and entertainer. We got borderline obsessed with ‘Rough Rod’ (our name for the Rod Stewart impersonator who appeared at some stage every night) and invested in whether he was shagging the flamenco dancer who was the other main act.

It was good fun as a one-off Grin.

Yes! If you met me, you might think I'm a bit fancy, but I love it! Just this evening somebody said to me 'oh I wouldn't have thought you'd like that sort of thing Tokyo' - but I absolutely do! We've just booked this type of holiday!

I love it too. I don’t take myself too seriously and like what I like. They remind me sometimes of the old Labour clubs/working men’s clubs with ‘turns.’ I love anything like that in all honesty.
