Recording stuff and cutting out the waffle of the presenters is a craft that we all had.

Getting weekly pay, in cash. Having a swimming baths in walking distance, in all directions and a gang of us going at primary school age. Having fields locally for miles to play on (now all housing estates and care homes). Getting smacked by a teacher. Getting a paper round as your first job while still in primary school.

Going to chemist to get photos developed.

Going to a football match & standing on the terrace.
Using a paper road map to find my route, rather than just tapping the postcode into the satnav.
And on from my mum : Retiring at 60.

Walking down to the phone box at the end of the road on a Sunday evening to make my weekly call to my mum.

Teachers hitting kids, thank god that doesn't happen anymore

Going to a gig/festival and people being present instead of recording it on their phones 🙄

Hitch hiking as a normal way of getting around

I mean I’m sure it’ll happen again someday, but not for a while.

All of the above! Though I’ve never been on Concorde but I can add watching it fly over every day when I was at uni!

Going to the library to research a project/learn stuff from a physical book.

I’ve still got a plug on a chain in my bathroom… some tech obviously just passes me by!

Getting your weekly wages in cash in a little brown envelope

Making go karts ( bogeys?) With planks of wood a bit of strong and wheels.
Nothing being open on a Sunday.
Mum dad and six kids in a car going to the seaside ........... obviously not something we ever did! ........
Playing out all day just coming home for tea

No mobile phones / video games

Going on a car journey as a child and gazing out of the window for three hours.

Going off after breakfast & being told to come back in time for tea.

Sitting in the boot of the car as a treat

Dialling a phone with the circle number

Glad they won’t have to deal with smoking everywhere

Having to physically go and hand in university work, on paper, by a certain time.
