Anyone win big on People's Postcode Lottery?

Just as the title says. Has anyone won big on The People's Postcode Lottery? I've been in it for years and only won a few £10 prizes. The last one was May '21. If I don't win one soon I'm stopping as I'd rather treat myself to a takeaway once a month! Winner winner chicken dinner.

My boyfriends parents aren't in it but a lot of their pals are. Their postcode came up a little while ago. It's fair to say that they soon wished that they had been, some of them won quite a bit of money!

I've never heard of anyone winning prizes over £1000. I've looked at the map of winner and they all seemed to be suspiciously clustered together spanning about 30 adjacent postcodes. I didn't think it worked like that.

A relative won £8000 once I don’t know anyone else that does it

No idea how it works, but some of them got more depending on their exact postcode. They won way over £8000.

I’ve done it for years. Only won a couple of £10. I was beginning to wonder if anyone ever really won.

£10 a few times, though DP has only been playing a year. He used to play Euromillions every Friday, years without winning as much as £50, but after our street won £1k per ticket he gave that up and started this.

I don't know exactly how it works, but I think it's something like this - if NE6 2?? is the winning postcode, then the prize money is shared between lottery players whose postcodes begin with NE6 2

I've done it for years and had a few £10. Don't feel I can stop now as I'd hear about it from the neighbors if they won 🤣

I did it for a year, won nothing and gave up.

I do know someone whose sister won 1m on the lottery the only time she ever played. I found out when she gave in her notice at work - her sister enabled her to give up paid work to be fully self employed.

I'm a lodger, if I join it and the postcode comes up presumably I get a share of the winnings but not the house owner?

Sounds obvious now I write it down but confirmation would be great!

A colleague won £200K - that's when I signed up. I have only won £10 prizes though.

Yes its the ticket owner, so they'd also have to have a ticket for their share.

I won £1000 a couple of years ago. A few random £10 and £20 here and there.

Only £10 about 5 times a year, sometimes less....However one of my overseas students from Colombia won big, it was about £117 K enough to buy 3 houses, 4 taxis and a grocery shop for the family etc...so life changing for him...lovely house cost about 20k, in a complex with shared pool and security etc.

No one’s been knocking at my door or ringing the bell… cos if they did , I’d be doing them a favour …by opening the door and letting em in!!!

Nah. Won naff all here. It’s the same clustered postcodes every time.

You can play any postcode too.... when we moved I contacted them and they said I could keep the old postcode or change to our new one.

Sounds a bit of a scam to me. Who chooses the postcode. I wouldn't take part., who gets the profits. Not keen. Dont know anybody who has won a penny on it.,
