Can anyone identify this model of car for me please?

My friends husband has taken this photo on his phone and it is not his car. It's a bit suspicious really. Can anyone tell what model it is please? Thanks in advance for any help

Don’t think this was taken in the last few weeks. As far as I’m aware ‘Heart Xmas’ is a pop-up radio station which starts around October and ends around 27th/28th December.

Thank you. It was taken in early November I believe, sent to his brother as a 'can you believe Christmas songs are on already' text. She asked him. He said it was in his work car which is an insignia. She didn't think it looked like his car. She thinks he's having an affair with his boss. Next step will probably be seeing what car the boss drives. All a bit of a mess but I think I'd be equally obsessed if it was me.

Definitely a Mercedes. Definitely not an Insignia.

It’s a Mercedes, and the C class doesn’t have that clock.

She says she was looking at messages to his brother as the brother had sent their new address a few weeks ago and she was posting a birthday card to his wife. Husband seemed ok with this until the car photo and things seemed to go tits up. She walked to mine with the dog and has been here for a few hours.
