To ask what is all over my pillow?

I can't figure out how to upload photos. 😕

My pillow was unmarked when I went to bed. This morning I woke up and they have brown marks but I don't know what they are. It was still under my head. It's happened a few times.

They look a bit like when you spill hot chocolate on your top, don't realise for a while and smear it around when you're trying to wipe it. That happens to me a lot!

They don't smell.
It's not food or drink as I don't eat in bed.
It's not hair dye as my hair is pink.
It's not make up. It's the wrong colour and I washed my face before bed.
It's not fake tan because I don't use it.
I didn't have a nose bleed or anything like that.
It's not dribble 😆 because it's definitely brown.

It's definately ON the pillowcase as opposed to something coming from the pillow iyswim.

I don't wake up with anything on my hair or face.

I am perplexed and a bit concerned.

Dry shampoo?

Nimbostratus100 · 20/01/2023 11:58

bed bug marks?

Milany · 20/01/2023 12:02

I have regular dentist appointments because of teeth issues (not ones that bleed) and have no other signs of gum issues or bleeding.

Eye mask might be a good call. I used a new one last night. It's pink but I guess might leave brown marks? I will experiment.

Also, woke up with a blocked nose and sniffles this morning but no signs of my nose bleeding.

I want to know what the deleted post said!!!

No scalp itchiness or anything?

Did you see the first response? It's probably ear wax.

Milany · 20/01/2023 13:23

I guess ear wax is a possibility but it would have been quite a lot of wax I think and I would have noticed a difference in hearing last night/this morning? I haven't had any itching or anything inside my ears and there was nothing on/around my ears this morning.

Would wax look a little shiny?

God. I'm so stupid. I've figured out what it is and I'm stupid for doing it in the first place and stupid for forgetting I'd done it at all.

I'm doing a charity thing next week and as part of it I have to use TSS. So I thought I'd see what ig was like so I put it on mh nectarine. I got distracted and didn't use stage 2 and went to ge bed with it on. Bizarrely I have no stains on me today. So moral if the story - use both stages of TSS or it doesn't work and don't sleep on a white pillow! It smells nice though.

Tonkerbea · 20/01/2023 16:54

What's TSS? Google is just showing Toxic Shock Syndrome

ChocChipOwl · 20/01/2023 17:02

Absolutely no idea what your update means

Summerlark · 20/01/2023 17:05

My son's pillow was speckled with blood. It was then I made the horrifying discovery he had nits. The little blighters were leaving blood drops from their biting.

Snazzysausage · 20/01/2023 17:08

You have to use TSS so you put it on your nectarine?! Is that code for something I'm too boring to understand?🤔😂

unfortunateevents · 20/01/2023 17:11

I'm just here for an explanation of how a charity event/TSS - something with two stages?/the nectarine all fit together!

NoSquirrels · 20/01/2023 17:14

Is it like a fake tan thing you put on in 2 stages and you tested it on your neck? What’s the charity thing?

postcardpuffin · 20/01/2023 17:15

I really want to know what this means now!

Lincslady53 · 20/01/2023 17:16

Could be bed bugs. They come out at night, fill themselves with blood and when you roll over and squash them they leave streaks of blood which goes brown. They are a pita to get rid of, so I hope it isn't these.

ShakespearesBlister · 20/01/2023 17:17

TSS and charity nectarines? What the actual fuck have you stuck on your pillow woman?! 🤣

Moonriver79 · 20/01/2023 17:20

I need to know what TSS and nectarines mean!

Rubyupbeat · 20/01/2023 17:22

Probably bloody saliva. I had this, I would also have a brown tongue, I realised I was being too aggressive with the flossing. But it could be a gum infection?

IfOnlyTheyMeantIt · 20/01/2023 17:24

Please don't leave it there OP??

Charity what?
What does TSS mean?
And what the feck do nectarines have to do with anything????

JanglyBeads · 20/01/2023 17:25

F

mrsbyers · 20/01/2023 17:28

TTS make weighted neck pads

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 20/01/2023 17:28

Just here for the answer 😂

WeeMadArthur1 · 20/01/2023 17:38

Googling TSS and stain gave me this distress spray. Not exactly sure what it is and how it would relate to charity nectarines though.
