There was only one such post yesterday. This morning, it is chock full of them and is basically unusable as a result.

YABU. This isn't Facebook.

ExtraOnions · 17/12/2022 10:13

…what rank are you in the Facebook Police ?

NerrSnerr · 17/12/2022 10:18

Are you allowed to sell them on marketplace? If so then they're not doing anything wrong. If not and it bothers you that much just report it.

iceyniceyspicey · 17/12/2022 10:19

it is annoying, I don't know why people can't make them up themselves

AngelontopoftheTree · 17/12/2022 10:20

Well I'm not on FB, so it's not me.

GiltEdges · 17/12/2022 10:24

In what way is it unusable? Just search for what you actually want to buy? 🤷‍♀️

WomanStanleyWoman2 · 17/12/2022 10:27

Buy what you want from a proper shop instead.

Tombero · 17/12/2022 10:55

I’m not really sure it’s something Mumsnet can resolve for you.

Georgeskitchen · 17/12/2022 10:58

Change your search settings then. What's wrong with people trying to earn a bit extra money in these straitened times?
Although admittedly, they are usually massively overpriced and you could do them yourself for much less 😉

LydiaBennetsUglyBonnet · 17/12/2022 10:58

Who do you think you’re talking to by posting here?!

ILoveeCakes · 17/12/2022 11:14

I thought that all the sweet box ads were posted by Mumsnetters with a "side hustle". Is that not right do you think?

Why would you think that?

Daffodilsandtuplips · 17/12/2022 11:38

I get it op. I’m sick of seeing them..”Christmas Eve Bags . Reindeer food, consisting of oats and glitter in a cone with a ribbon to fasten, a cheap puzzle, a colouring book and pack of crayons from the £1.00 shop, a sachet of hot chocolate drink, a pack of mini mallows and Christmas themed mug and a Magic Santa key, all contained in Christmas gift bag. £10.00.
Then there’s the budget version for a fiver: a smaller gift bag with colouring book, crayons, reindeer food and a sachet of hot chocolate, a few mallows wrapped in cling film and a Chocolate bar.
It was rife during Lockdown with home baking, pies, cake boxes, afternoon teas.
I used to ask what their Food Hygene rating was, hardly any of them replied. Only the ones who did actually have one bothered to reply.

PelvicFloorClenchReminder · 17/12/2022 11:44

Don't go on cocking facebook then, dumbass.

Prinnny · 17/12/2022 11:45

What a weird thought process 😂

Hooverphobe · 17/12/2022 11:46

U OK hun?

MeJane · 17/12/2022 11:48

I've never once seen a sweet box on Facebook! Sad

Now you have given your algorithm a good old boost by posting about them on here you will see nowt but sweet boxes.

MrsFezziwig · 17/12/2022 11:49

Just checked my FB Marketplace. Not a single sweet box to be seen (and that’s with no filters).

unclebuck · 17/12/2022 11:49

Why?

ExtraOnions · 17/12/2022 10:13

This is a quote I'm gonna use from now on.

AlwaysGinPlease · 17/12/2022 11:51

Most MN take the piss out of those ridiculously overpriced cobbled together sweet boxes OP. so you're wasting your time here.

Volumous · 17/12/2022 11:52

YABU. This isn't Facebook.

But the people responsible are definitely here 🤣

BumFluffBumFluff · 17/12/2022 11:53

Why are you posting here and not on Facebook?

What a weird assumption.

SheWoreYellow · 17/12/2022 11:56

So you think everyone making sweetie boxes is on mumsnet? I doubt that.
