Please can you all stop posting Christmas sweet boxes and the like on Facebook marketplace? Thanks

There was only one such post yesterday. This morning, it is chock full of them and is basically unusable as a result.

No sweet boxes on mine. I never see much in the way of MLMs either. It's very disappointing. Mine has cars, kids toys and furniture.

I think you're being a bit harsh, to be honest.
Times are hard, and people are just trying to make a little bit of extra cash.
If you don't want to buy them, don't.

I don't think many people have truly thought them through though, in that they won't have a food hygiene cert or be declaring the income etc .. but I can't knock people who are trying to make ends meet at the moment. I just can't.

It was rife during Lockdown with home baking, pies, cake boxes, afternoon teas.
I used to ask what their Food Hygene rating was, hardly any of them replied. Only the ones who did actually have one bothered to reply.

This. Where I live Facebook Marketplace is full of it.

Where I previously lived the local Spotted page was full of this crap including dodgy crafts from one person. I found later she didn’t even live locally.

All the sellers are women, and I'd bet many are SAHMs, so it's not totally unreasonable to assume that a load of them would be on here.

No one owning up to it yet, but I don't believe none of you sell these stupid boxes. Come on - who is it?
