To find my next door neighbour repulsive

This is somewhat lighthearted. But I've been bed ridden with the flu all week and I'm fed up of him.

He farts SO loud. Constantly. I can hear it through the walls. And it's all day every day. I can hear it even when my tv is on.

If I were his wife I'd be so grossed out. Surely you don't need to be that loud about 20 times a day. I often hear him laughing afterwards too. A grown man 🙄 I know some people find it funny. But I just don't want to listen to somebody else's farts all bloody day long

I had a thin walled flat in Aberdeen and the next door neighbour was a throat clearer. Every morning, he'd spend ages hacking up a lung, then spitting. In the kitchen.

Our kitchens were adjacent and he was up at the same time of day as me. Proper nauseating.

Urghhhhh. Disgusting. I wouldn’t be impressed either. Must be loud if you can hear them through the walls.

What kind of housing is it that you can hear them fart? Do you mean through the open windows?

I live in a semi detached house. No windows open as it's freezing. He is THAT loud

My neighbour is really lovely but a coughing throat clearer.. she coughs ever 30 seconds. We can't sit on our patio in the summer without being driven bonkers by it. I wish she would shut her windows or use the front of her house. Thankfully we can't hear anything through our walls. I'm sure we are irritating too.

As a lentil eating vegetarian I have occasionally thought "Oh gosh, can they hear that?!" when I work from home.

I am too classy to laugh though.

Ugh! Assuming that moving isn't on the cards I'd be putting up sound insulation. Definitely wouldn't want to hear anyone else, especially their bodily functions 🤮

It is just noise. It is not harming you whatsoever.
People fart. It can't be helped.

My old neighbour emailed my partner complaining about me coughing in the night when I was very poorly with some respiratory infection. I could not help it!
