Jones Road it looks cheap and is a copy of Glossier. The eyeshadow I bought was also really poor quality.

luxxlisbon · 05/12/2022 16:39

For me it’s not even the CT packaging but I just couldn’t buy her products due to her mental views. She openly comes out and says she sleeps in her makeup every night? She washes her face and then redoes her makeup for bed and her husband has never seen her without makeup. Wtf, that’s just so pathetic and depressing.

Jellywobblescobbles · 05/12/2022 16:56

I agree. It looks crap, all of the products sound weird, glittery face balm?! and the name is naff.

donttellmehesalive · 05/12/2022 16:58

I don't like CT either. I don't like the sm - 'darlings'Envy

Oh I like the look of JR but would never buy any make up without seeing in rl

Not so much the packaging for me. But if a advert is shit then it puts me off the brand for life. Go Compare am looking at you

JenniferBooth · 05/12/2022 17:28

Not because of the packaging but because it has Dirty in the name
Im talking about Dirty Works the cheaper version of Soap and Glory.

HintofVintagePink · 05/12/2022 17:29

Who Gives A Crap loo roll. I don’t want that branding in my bathroom.

ValBiro · 05/12/2022 17:34

Child's Farm. Great products, naff packaging.

In fact anything with a real life photo of someone else's baby or child on it.

Come to think of it... Any real life human depicted on the packaging.

Child's Farm was the one that came to mind as its the only one I actively buy because it is such a good product!

Blackbutler86 · 05/12/2022 17:37

Anything in a tin made by Heinz because the tins don’t stack and it drives me mad 😡. I like Heinz products but I refuse to buy them anymore for the inconvenience albeit seeming very minor to most people.

Papergirl1968 · 05/12/2022 17:50

Not the packaging as such but the name Ickle Bubba.

FlappyFish · 05/12/2022 17:54

The clothes company Fat Face. I like some of their items. The name is utterly off putting.

Hidingawaytoday · 05/12/2022 18:04

Not packaging but basically every single perfume advert puts me off buying it. Especially the one with the woman prancing around and then going 'And you, what would you do for love?' With a weird smile. I just don't get it.

This. It annoys me so much

Horsesandzebras · 05/12/2022 18:12

I don't like much packaging. I studied marketing. We need to just have products in plain reusable packaging and forget the aspirational/ marketing comms packaging BS.

stuntbubbles · 05/12/2022 18:12

Innocent and Oatly and anything that has the wacky “aw, hiya! Didya want to know the ingredients? We smoosh fruity things into yummy boxes – better for the planet, innit” talking to you voice.

See also Loaf sofas, not that I can afford them, but all the “here’s our yummy splodgy Spotted Dick With Custard squishy armchair in delicious Toffee Crumble velvet, mmm, delivered on our white glove service by our squidgy van. As cosy as a fire!”

jamoncrumpets · 05/12/2022 18:14

Innocent smoothies.

Totally

they could be the best in the whole wide world, but I just see the name and feel sick.

You didn’t study it very well if you think packaging does nothing to persuade consumers to buy the product

Papergirl1968 · 05/12/2022 18:27

Exactly TrashyPanda!

Yes, but my values are firmly laid on the side of a sustainable planet not marketing and profit. That's another thread though.
