Just for fun really

OP posts:
NightmareSlashDelightful · 21/10/2022 11:44

Everything (I'm gay)

DoubleBuggyDriver · 21/10/2022 11:44

A man who can’t put a basic flat pack together

KimberleyClark · 21/10/2022 11:44

SteveHarringtonsChestHair · 21/10/2022 11:40

How is that a double standard? It could only be such if men were all respectful of - and attracted to - fat, hairy, unemployed women. Which on the whole they’re not.

And they get criticised for it, but it’s fine for women to feel that way apparently.

ReneBumsWombats · 21/10/2022 11:49

Georgeskitchen · 21/10/2022 11:31

But this thread is full of women saying fat unemployed hairy MEN give them the ick
I'm sensing a whole Cartload of double standards here, surprise surprise!!

If you've never heard men complaining about women being overweight or expecting to be paid for, kindly share whatever it is you're smoking. Must be good shit if it even makes you forget the site is almost exclusively female (and the OP itself is gender neutral; people are welcome to share their turnoffs in women).

Carlycat · 21/10/2022 11:49

Everything. Thank fuck I'm single

Simonjt · 21/10/2022 11:52

Obviously all the isms, so sexism etc.

Poor personal hygiene
Bad manners
Finger nails long enough to have any white nail (well a phobia really)
An unsavoury job, like abbatoir, police etc.

ReneBumsWombats · 21/10/2022 11:52

KimberleyClark · 21/10/2022 11:44

Oh get away. They do it constantly and our society, not to mention the tsunami of online porn, lives on the double standards relating to men and women's looks and fuckability. And they're welcome to do it here, the OP's question is gender neutral. It's a site mostly used by straight women, as any fule kno.

Washyourownfeet · 21/10/2022 07:34

Noisy eaters and loud snotty sniffers, men with sloping bums, bleached hair, permed hair, dirty long toenails and fingernails, nastiness and call it banter and obese men that wear tee shirts that are miles too short and have flab hanging over their waistbands and men that have their hands down the front of their pants scratching their balls, I’ve noticed this a lot recently, men scratching their balls in public with gay abandon.

Sloping bums GrinGrinGrin

NightmareSlashDelightful · 21/10/2022 11:53

What's a sloping bum? I'm curious now.

Again, you’re holding women to a higher standard than men. It’s absolutely fine for anyone not to be attracted to someone who is fat and hairy (although some of us are quite partial to that!) and by all means, call those women out if you think they’re veering across the line between ‘I’m not attracted to...’ into ‘being fat and hairy is disgusting, let’s mock these people’, but make sure you’re doing that to men too, because women aren’t any less entitled to express their preferences than men are.

NCforthisoneo · 21/10/2022 11:58

Weirdly undecorated house
Noisy eater
Tory, unless in the Rory Stewart mould
Being thick

Snoozer11 · 21/10/2022 12:00

Everyone has preferences but these things aren't "the ick".

xogossipgirlxo · 21/10/2022 12:04

Childish behaviour

Lightningrain · 21/10/2022 12:05

Bitten fingernails
Anything that indicates poor hygiene standards
Constant swearing
Lack of independence - relying on other people so it feels like you’re dating a teenager rather than a grown man

twinklyeyes · 21/10/2022 12:06

Picking nose and then rolling it into a ball to flick.

Exactly, the ick is an instant change, it just happens and over something random often. It's not the attributes you don't like in someone.

I had it once with someone I really fancied, had wanted to date for ages, was great for s couple of months he then just said something random during sex, nothing offensive at all but it was like a switch turning off and I didn't find him attractive at all.

I think I am prone to getting the ick, it happens all the time to me. It's never a gradual thing, one minute I fancy them, the next I don't.

MrsKeats · 21/10/2022 12:07

I think some people are missing my point. In some worlds and especially in the MN world, a man who criticises a woman, however slightly, is condemned as every misogynistic vile sexist bullying bastard under the sun, but when women do the same it's fine. Similar when a group of men see a sexy looking woman, anything but averting their eyes is totally unacceptable. Yet a muscular young adonis with tight bins walks past and its weyhey look at the arse on that!!
And yes it does happen.......all the time

70billionthnamechange · 21/10/2022 12:32

Imagine the shit men would get if the feminist board caught hold of a thread like this about women

Of course a man who comes on to a female centric site to complain about women will get short shrift. It doesn't mean that societally and in general, men are silenced from expressing what they do and don't find attractive or can't find porn or sex workers or camgirls to suit them. Give me a break.

The thread is about turnoffs in the opposite sex, and I assume this really means the sex you like. Anyone is welcome to respond. If you can't handle the fact that we are mostly women here and that'll influence the outcome here, I suggest you find another site because you're really going to struggle even more than you are now.

'Just for fun.' Hmm

Bloody horrible thread. As a number of posters have said, the hypocrisy and disingenuousness from some on here is utterly breathtaking.

If a poster said (for example,) 'my DH said he wouldn't fancy me if I gained weight,' there would be cries of LEAVE THE BASTARD.

Some people on here are a disgrace! Hmm They're the same type who preach the tedious 'be kind' mantra too!

mamabear715 · 21/10/2022 12:55

I'm sure guys have lists on their sites!
In any case, most would read these posts & think 'Thank God that's not me!' (Because they really do all think they are perfect, lol.. )
Myself? Umm.. all the above (although I'm not sure what's wrong with policemen as a PP mentioned!)
I don't like guys who can't drive.. that would be a big thing for me, as I love watching their hands on the wheel / gearstick, from my late Dad to late DH.
Haven't seen anyone a tenth as gorgeous as late DH, so won't be test driving any more. ;-)

windowwhy · 21/10/2022 12:56

My 32 year old husband has bought himself the World Cup sticker book and I've never fancied him less 😂
