I love all men. No hang on a minute ...

Always hated Peppermint Patty!

When the "question" is not a question but a silly, weak criticism that's already been made and answered umpteen times, a sigh is an appropriate response.

If it sparks furious and unintentionally amusing conjecture from certain types of angry people, that's a bonus. Although the ranting about policemen was funnier, if I'm honest.

What if people don't with the answer you've given? Is that allowed?

wb3 · 21/10/2022 22:00

...agree...

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 21/10/2022 22:02

I hate it when people start a post with "Sigh "

I often put <sigh> at the end of my posts (but that's different)

People who start every sentence with So , either written or spoken.

Kier Starmar on LBC , he started every bloody sentence with Listen .
That's bringing out the stabby in me , not just the ick .

Mumof31981 · 21/10/2022 22:06

Men with long fingernails really make me want to vomit. I swear they are serial killers in plain sight

Looks a good sign to me.

One man's poison an all that, I think that could be a 'yes please nurse' moment for me. I love and creme eggs and 'going to town'

Imagine if this thread was reversed about women, should be ashamed of yourselves! Double standards at its best right here!

Go on Reddit. Go on Pistonheads. Go on Puntersnet. Go on most male dominated forums and you'll get threads just like this, from men about women. Usually much cruder.

The only double standard is that those threads aren't interspersed with posts lecturing men on how mean and shameful they're being.

Just been reading some of the threads on Reddit (not been on before) and it’s enlightening!
Haven't come across the crude ones yet - just page after page of baffled men discussing really odd behaviour.

She kept saying ''I'm sorry I look like shit'' every single time I saw her. I told her ''If I thought you looked like shit, I wouldn't be with you. Check your insecurity at the door, it's just as unattractive as you wrongfully think your looks are.'' She didn't get it and kept doing it.

That's 19 ick things I do so far 😉

YouAreNotBatman · 22/10/2022 06:17

I gotta ask: So often I’ve seen Pistonheads mentioned and I’ve went to check it few times now, all they talk about is cars.
An I missing something?

(I don’t doubt there are men talking about women, I just can’t find it)

You are not wrong!
Pistonheads is the best place to go if you need to know anything car related.
Just ask a question and within 10 seconds you have 50 posters falling over themselves to offer their expertise.
It’s brilliant! 🤣

@TambourineOfRepentance

You have just given me another ways to waste hours of my time! Still reading Reddit!

Here’s the kind of thing I’ve found so far…

Women can add the final jigsaw piece to your life that makes you feel complete in ways that you're otherwise unlikely to experience. But they can (and you will experience this at least once) tear your heart out in a cold and callous manner that will sink you to the bottom of the ocean

Ultimately, being with a woman teaches you how to be accountable, wise and patient (if you treat each heartbreak as an opportunity to grow)

Followed by 1654 men agreeing with him…
‘Bro, nailed it dude…’

BagpussBagpussOldFatFurryCatpuss · 22/10/2022 07:17

God… there’s more

And getting your heart broken will also help you learn (hopefully) to be emotionally independent, to stand up for yourself and know your worth.

So many men, especially younger men, only value themselves based on women's approval, and have difficulties feeling emotionally well without a partner. Learning that a woman in your life isn't everything is an important lesson. And that often comes when they try to move on from a break up.

😔

Exactly, the ick is an instant change, it just happens and over something random often. It's not the attributes you don't like in someone.

I had it once with someone I really fancied, had wanted to date for ages, was great for s couple of months he then just said something random during sex, nothing offensive at all but it was like a switch turning off and I didn't find him attractive at all.

I think I am prone to getting the ick, it happens all the time to me. It's never a gradual thing, one minute I fancy them, the next I don't.

What did he say - can you say?

I'm curious what (that's not offensive) someone could say that would make someone go from fancying to not fancying them almost instantly.

This thread is reversed every day on a male dominated forum I frequent.

Except it's way nastier and more vulgar.
