As far as my health goes, at this point I've been diagnosed with hemochromatosis (say that 3 times fast!). I'm trying not to consult 'Dr Google' too much because all that usually does is scare the shit out of one. But my understanding is that it's a manageable condition once they get my iron (which is off the charts) under control. I see a specialist next month. I'm also undergoing liver tests but the GI doctor doesn't appear to be panicking about it.

We've had to reschedule our holiday from October to next Spring as the treatment (basically being 'bled') can take 6 months or so.

It's always something, isn't it?

Doofus is expected to travel to Georgia on Thursday afternoon and plans to surrender to authorities at the Fulton County jail on Thursday night.

The 1st GOP debate is tonight. Apparently Doofus has given an interview with Fucker Carlson which will be released online at the same time as the debate. He just can't stand the attention being turned from him for any reason, can he?

For reference, when he was president his physician claimed that the infamously unhealthy Trump weighed 244 pounds. At the time many cried foul, unable to square the professed weight with Trump's morbidly obese appearance.

When he is booked and his mugshot is taken, the weight will be released. This is a particularly painful indignity for Trump because he spends much of his time fat shaming his enemies, from Chris Christie to Rosie O'Donnell.

In recent weeks, Trump has seemed particularly sensitive about his weight and has complained that Fox News only uses unflattering photos of him "especially the big ‘orange’ one with my chin pulled way back."

Just been watching CNN. Saw Doofus' plane waiting to take off, then taking off, on the TV, while tracking it on FlightRadar. Pleased to say that he had to wait for about 4 scheduled planes to take off first.

The actual mugshot, which CNN put up while I was watching, somehow doesn't look to me as if it's compliant with the regs, not that I actually know what they are! CNN wondered out loud whether he had been practising his pose . His hair gleams, he's holding his face at an odd angle, and the whole thing has a sort of photoshopped look about it. But again, what do I know?
