To ask if it’s better to watch the funeral on ITV or BBC

Will there be any difference? Or will it be the exact same coverage on both? We are going to put it on the TV now

I ahve no idea. Do you think ITV will have advert breaks? What will they advertise if they do?

This is what I’m thinking

I think there's no adverts and all broadcasters are using the same picture feed.

I would tend to watch ITV because I have come to object to the BBC, their financial system/extravagance and faux political impartiality…..but I do like Huw Edwards, so may watch a bit of both.

Who's the man greeting everyone at the door? He seems to know almost every single head of state. Assuming he's a member of royal staff?

I'm channel hopping between Sky, ITV and BBC. I jump every time an interview begins... I just want to people watch and see all the troops etc.

I'd choose BBC since ITV filmed themselves telling random people on the street that the Queen had died.

Very crass and unfair to the people they told who were suddenly upset and shocked. Just walking along doing their shopping minding their own business.

Crass, cheap, lazy and insensitive.....

(I'm not even a royalist but it really pissed me off!)

Is James Naughtie involved in the BBC commentary? He was terrible during the Edinburgh procession, wittering away incessantly like a tour guide.
