Mummyof3struggles · 19/09/2022 09:26

Will there be any difference? Or will it be the exact same coverage on both? We are going to put it on the TV now

YANBU- use BBC

YABU- use ITV

So far it seems that BBC have more time with presenters and guests in the studio area vs actual footage of what is going on compared to ITV

Coastalcreeksider · 19/09/2022 09:56

Team Huw at the BBC but with the sound quite low.

Againstmachine · 19/09/2022 09:57

Pick a channel and watch it's on pretty much every channel apart from 5.

It's even on sky movies and sky sports so no watching something else love.

Me I'll be watching Netflix

Reallly?

Because I have just seen live coverage and no guests for ages now.
Currently it's got pipers on and little commentary

StarCourt · 19/09/2022 09:58

@cakeorwine those pipers and drummers are amazing

TheCanyon · 19/09/2022 09:58

I'd choose BBC as don't want to listen to Susanna or Kate, or run the risk of having to listen to Mary nightingale who makes me irrationally angry.

SquishySquashySquishmallow · 19/09/2022 09:58

I’ve got ITV but also can’t bear Susannah when she does the ‘slow voice’ Get To The Point Woman.
Yesterday they had Adil Ray on and I can’t abide him either, thank the Lord it’s now Ben Shephard.

MrsLargeEmbodied · 19/09/2022 09:35

no commentary option also from BBC

Oh how do you get that?!

Inkanta · 19/09/2022 10:04

BBC now and just Huw's voice.

ImAvingOops · 19/09/2022 10:08

I've got BBC on announcing who's who as they arrive. Except for Rose Hanbury - they were oddly silent at that point!

HelpMeGetThrough · 19/09/2022 10:08

We've gone for Sky News.

Cant beat Alistair Bruce.

spanieleyes · 19/09/2022 10:11

I like Huw's voice, so BBC for me.

SheldonesqueTheBstard · 19/09/2022 10:12

BBC. All day long.

Huw is a safe pair of hands.

Plus there is no chance of the grin twins having their coupons on my tv making it all about them

Seems to have changed now more stuff is happening. But earlier that was the case.

StarCourt · 19/09/2022 10:13

I've just swapped to Sky

KermitlovesKeyLimePie · 19/09/2022 10:13

Who were the couple who waited outside for Joe & Jill to arrive?

The lady with the handkerchief skirt and grey bag.

Guessing the American Ambassador maybe?

They didn’t show Joe Biden arriving I don’t think? ITV did though

Does anybody know why there is sand all over the floor where the procession is taking place? I'm guessing it must be on purpose because surely they would have cleaned it otherwise for something so important

SquishySquashySquishmallow · 19/09/2022 10:15

I like Hugo Vickers, he has a very calm voice and knows a lot.

MrsLargeEmbodied · 19/09/2022 10:15

no commentary on the bbc red button

KermitlovesKeyLimePie · 19/09/2022 10:16

@ohnoohnoo I think it is for the horses. Also if you look at the manholes they have been covered so am assuming that is to show they have been checked for explosives etc.

It's to do with the horses

They did

TokyoSushi · 19/09/2022 10:18

I'm watching on Sky at the moment as Alastair Bruce is absolutely brilliant at explaining what's going on. I might watch the actual service on BBC though.
