www.independent.co.uk/travel/news-and-advice/vogue-williams-flight-seats-spencer-matthews-b2150116.html#l7652tmicb0ymkdkfgc

I was actually astounded reading this!

Summary for those who don’t want to click the link: Vogue Williams booked the wrong seats on a plane, demanded a man move so they could all sit together, he initially declined to move and then changed his mind, she was still incredibly rude about him to an air hostess and then bitched about it on her podcast. And by the sounds of it, she’s done this before, suggesting that she just expects everyone to bend to her will. Also Spencer Matthews admitted that he frequently queue jumps.

She sounds vile!

Raquelos · 23/08/2022 13:13

Yeah, nobby people are nobbers.

Deep lack of surprise

topcat2014 · 23/08/2022 13:16

I love the idea of these z listers saying "do you know who I am"

I may have heard of him, but wouldn't grace it anyway. The answer would of course be No

abblie · 23/08/2022 13:17

Neveriked either of them

Beansí · 23/08/2022 13:17

She's an absolute tit.

Andromachehadabadday · 23/08/2022 13:17

What always amazes me about these types of people is that not are the dickheads in the moment. They then get space away from the situation, still can’t see how ridiculous they were and go on to be more dickish. And still so convince everyone will agree with them, that they share their story publicly.

lots of us are guilty of being a dickhead, but usually realise later, that we were dicks. But these sort of people don’t seem to have that ability

ChunkyLegsandKinderEggs · 23/08/2022 13:26

Quite! At least have the good grace to be embarrassed by your bad behaviour!

She really let herself down there.

phishy · 23/08/2022 13:48

There was another thread about it, it seems we're all being unreasonable not to realise she was just joking Hmm

Arbesque · 23/08/2022 13:51

Yes I was on that other thread and got stick for not realising it was obviously all exaggerated.
If she is exaggerating why does she want to show herself in such a poor light. Does she think talking about the other passenger like that makes her look good?

Jumpking · 23/08/2022 13:55

And these people are...???

She does that Persil advert I think

He's from one of those tv shows about fuck all

His brother is married to Pippa Middleton. She is Bryan McFadden from Westlife's ex wife.

So she has indirect connections to the Queen and Kerry Katona.

Acheyknees · 23/08/2022 14:18

I suppose any publicity is better than no publicity?

DdraigGoch · 23/08/2022 14:36

Who?

balalake · 23/08/2022 14:43

There was another thread on this.

Anyone who has the bad judgment to marry a member of Westlife is not someone I would be accommodating to.

Celebrities...

My husband is a curator at a national museum. Staff were told they needed to stay late one evening at short notice because Beyonce was in the UK and wanted a private tour. OK, about 20 staff had to be around to facilitate this - she didn't want any Joe Public in there with her.

She arrived nearly 2 hours late with a massive, scary-looking entourage (it was the British Museum, for heaven's sake). She didn't greet anyone, wouldn't speak to the staff who had been asked to give her a personal tour and stayed glued to her phone throughout. My husband said it was a really depressing experience, trying to give a tour spiel to someone who wouldn't look at you or show any sign of interest in what you were telling them. So rude it's off the scale. I suppose she wanted to be able tell interviewers she was really intellectual, cultured and just lerrvved the British Museum.

Nothing these ridiculous people do would surprise me.

Floweryflora · 23/08/2022 14:53

Literally no idea who she is.

Wherearemyspex · 23/08/2022 14:54

Am I supposed to have heard of this woman? Who is she?

Jollyandbright · 23/08/2022 15:14

It always astounds me how frequently people think that having children entitles them to some kind of priority or special treatment.

i often see it on busses and train, people queue up in an orderly fashion and then some person with a pushchair strolls up to the front of the queue and expects to be able to get on first because they have kids.

Some of these people believe that because of their ‘star’ status they are really more important than anyone else. It really is quite pathetic the way they are just ill mannered to well intentioned people.

I've read a good response to, "Do you know who I am?" Turn to the people nearby and ask loudly, "Does anyone know who this person is? He/she seems to have forgotten."

Novum · 23/08/2022 18:11

The passenger changed his mind and agreed to swap, whereupon she turned to the air hostess and called him a fucking piece of shit. I think in his shoes I'd have changed my mind right back again.

FinallyHere · 23/08/2022 18:19

Re 'do you know who I am"

Seb Coe at the highs of his fame once arrived at the wrong door to Lords (MCC) cricket ground. He was politely advised which door to go to and pulled the 'don't you know who I am' card.

When he had explained (current holder of world record for fastest 800m sprint) the person on the door was allegedly replied 'well you will be able to round round there quickly, won't you'.
